I just got my Windcharger and Tailgate from BBTS on Friday, but I haven't had the time to try and transform them.

 

I recommend putting on a pot of coffee! Or maybe having a stiff drink.

Finally painted the masked toy face, went to install it and the screw doesn't go through it far enough to go into the hole on the other side. Anyone else have that problem? I'll have to carefully drill it out a bit.

 

Crap. I just noticed that his shoulder bits should be black, not blue. And the square on his crotch panel should be filled in black like the rectangle on his chest.

I am trying to think of a job where transforming Boost would be considered comparatively relaxing.....

I ended up just using a longer screw for the toy face...then discovered that the back of the head actually does nothing to hold the face in place and the face just falls right out of the front of his head. :/
I might just glue it, even though that would prevent future swapping.

Anyway, here's the toy face painted gunmetal with black visor instead of white with silver visor.

 

I see you've already made the adjustments, but really, all you had to do was skim the series. There's bound to be a frame or two that matches the above.  

 

I wish they would hurry up with the toy version.

I almost made the mistake of buying this, but read the part about the toy version coming soon, and got the eBay seller to cancel the order before they shipped it out.

After having read this thread, was prepared for the worst. In reality, the feet transformation took me 5 mins (no prob). Hand transformation was irritating, but still doable.

Pleasantly surprised overall and definitely recommend. Like the colors as well - white legs are fine for me.

I think they never really intended a toy version, but then said they would to appease the mob....it's probably on the back burner

 

I want to know if the qc will be significantly improved.
