hehe, I'm sure it was just sarcasm:)  If there were tons of breakage and flaws, we'd have been hearing about them for a while. Maybe it was just time to let off a bit of steam and the best way was to see who'd lose it and begin a flame war;)

Honestly, there's no real reason to do that, unless you bought the TFC version. Yeah, then I'd be upset, because those toys look, well, awful:( *

I just wish I had the nerves to move the block that's over mixmasters head. That thing annoys me to no end, but I figured why gamble with the little screw issue. It's just going to be put together as a finished set and left on the shelf. His figures are fun to play with, but once they get combined, they'll probably stay that way. The whole team looses a bit of oomph when separate. hehe

There is one thing I'm curious about though. Is anyone ever going to have the courage to do a set of the trainbots? Those were so different on the cartoon that it makes me think that they would be scared as they weren't introduced until the Japanese shows, even though the toy was out before. I'd love to see what they'd do with Abominus, Road Kaiser and Raiden. There have been Arial bots before, but I'd love them if they came from GT, I'm really thinking I'd go in on any future set they decide to make, this team was so well done that it would be an easy buy for me.

Yes! Exactly! His crane boom, to me, is as iconic as Mixmasters barrel...as Scrappers scoop foot...as Scavengers scoop arm...as Bonecrushers plow blade...and to a lesser extent, as Long Hauls dump bed on Devastators back.

I like seeing the parts of the construction equipment that very clearly points to what their alt mode would be when not combined hanging off of the gestalt. Hiding Hooks crane boom hides what makes him recognizable.

I really want them to do a Raiden (even put the bug in their ear way back). Everyone does planebots and carbots, let's see some TRAINS. He's Devy's Diaclone counterpart AND has 6 bots. 5-man combiner teams are lame -- they suffer more from bad scaling and proportions because one guy makes up the entire torso and thighs. I was tempted to buy-in on TFC's Liokaiser, but they use the generic hips-and-thighs-as-elbows that I absolutely hate. Hell, if they could do a really nice MP-style Railracer, I'd settle for that. 3-man combiners are more questionable than fivers, but Railracer was pretty damn good.

TransformMisson is their side company, so we will be getting the IDW inspired Menasor from them.

I'd like to see a Liokaiser, Roar Caesar would be interesting or at least just doing the Brainmasters even if they don't combine, and Raiden would be good as well. Also a better proportioned Dino King would be great.

Based on Page 444, coloured production samples are expected in May, and the release is probably going to be late May/June

Which is fine but it should also, using 2016 technology, have a way to be adjusted so that the figure can be stood with its back against a wall and not a minimum of 6+ inches away from it solely because of the crane kibble. Hell, MakeToys figured out a solution to this over two years ago for Green Giant.

Yeah, I'd like any of those combiners. Just wonder if it's going to happen. So far, it seems that every company has taken the easy route and made the more well known and popular figures.

At the price that they cost to make, it may not be a guaranteed return on profit, but for fans, I'm willing to bet that there would be a ton of us who'd buy them. I'd love to see any of those figures made, I'd bite. At this point though, it would be best if they would make them according to this figures size, as I think Warbo has made them the same size. Doing this should make them easier for anyone to buy, since they would fit in with the popular groups. The only thing that makes me nervous about combiners is their size in relation to other combiners. I know that there are tons of people that want them to be MP scale, but I prefer they match other combiners. I wouldn't be interested in a group if they were much taller or shorter than what I already have. With Rex and GT, they are a match as far as I know. I'm going to try to get Warbotrons figures at some point, hopefully. Not sure about computron, but maybe. Everything is about money at this point.

I agree. you can then either keep the crane fully extended, or bend it 90 degrees to flush out the back. best of both worlds.

This is gonna sound weird - but my favorite thing about this set is that glorious gravity builder purple. I really dig it!

GT said that the Crane Part will be removable, just like the Maketoys Version. So calm down

As always, i do not know, if they really did it with the Final Product or not.
But everything GT said so far, with Alternate Heads and Removable Back Pack was true, and they did it.

So i guess this time, it will be true, too.

There's nothing frantic about my post, so don't try to project emotion into it that's not even there.

Sweet- the option of having the crane for the classic look is nice (where he can't look left but looks extra badass), but being removable for display purposes is appreciated greatly!

I'm definitely no photoshop wizard, but i added the hazard striping to his thighs and mocked up green treads on both sides.
