    I think that's where I'm at too. I waited a long time to get the CW Megatron, simply because of his size (especially compared to Classics Voyager Prime) but then gave in to desperation. Although the Henkei Megs is still the stand-in for CHUG. This may change, assuming I can simply ignore the Headmaster gimmick. (Same with Galvatron.)
    I'm fine with the Doubledealer we just recently got in Generations. Same thing with Brainstorm.

    Yeah, i mean, i'm cool with the Titanmasters and like a lot of what i'm seeing, but my ideal line would have had:
    Deluxe = Targetmasters & Powermasters
    Voyagers = Headmasters (which would have kept the HMs from having to be overly diminutive)
    Leaders = Triplemaster (like the proposed power master prime from back in the day)
    and the cheap sets would have been 3 packs consisting of 1 each HM/TM/PM for replacements.

    Meh, no. Again, since I like my TFs big, I'd rather get Micron Legends Shockwave (Japanese Armada Tidal Wave) to act as Tidal Wave.

    Yeah, it looks like Megatron (and Optimus) get the shoulder pylons.

    You know, I do have to say with as stoked as I am about everything in TR, there are a lot of characters I just won't ever be taking the heads off of. Megs and Optimus look great but I don't need them as Headmasters, I don't need to take Getaway's head off ever, and even the guys that I DO want as Headmasters I don't see myself doing much with it. And I'm saying this as a dude who loves Master gimmicks - I'm mostly just stoked about these designs, and to see so many characters from 87 and after get CHUG designs. It's probably due to my age, but Headmasters and everything after is really one of my favorite eras in TFs, period, and I'm glad to see it show up in Generations finally.

    I'm also with you on Doubledealer and Brainstorm - although I might double dip on Brainstorm just because he's one of my all-time favorite characters.

    I'm just wondering where people are hearing/getting the idea you don't have to remove the heads for mode conversion. That's the entire point of Headmasters - the head serves as a "pilot" in vehicle mode.

    These are awesome but I wish we could have the Targetmasters with, you know, Targetmasters instead of Headmasters.

    Not the same verison though, and CW megs wasn't' too are comic accurate either. Plus blitzwing looked good but really wasn't due to problems he had with his figure plus it was released 3 years ago....

    Oh, no, totally, but there's a difference between just popping the head off and doing stuff like swapping heads, buying the smaller Titanmasters, and so on. Besides, I never transform anything anyway. :p

    Has there ever been a leak this early or this extensive? I don't recall design docs being leaked a year ahead of release like this.

    Triggerhappy will be mine. I don't mind that he is a Headmaster instead of a Targetmaster. I'll just break out my 3P Master Shooter BBTS Exclusive "Shooter Master 3-Pack".

    The Titan Wars line is looking good so far, especially with so many characters from 1987 and beyond now being re-introduced. I like what I've seen from this line and at first I thought that the whole mini-figure/"Titan" thing was interesting as an across-the-board, all-size-class-interactive, line-wide gimmick. Upon seeing Galvatron, PM Prime, Astrotrain, etc., as re-labeled HeadMasters for the first time, I accepted it thankfully, because their molds looked good, and at least they were being made again. The Titan/HeadMaster thing was a familiar concept, if ill-placed, and could be gotten used to.

    ...BUT, now that even more characters that were never HeadMasters are being presented, I've begun to change my mind. I find myself missing and wishing for proper TargetMasters, PowerMasters, and character-appropriate non-Masters. I don't know, after seeing SixShot's art I began asking myself, "Why do they all have to be HeadMasters?" I realize that the whole point of the Titan Wars line is the class-wide interactive ability, but truthfully, I don't want them ALL to be HeadMasters. Do I want modern, well-articulated, official HasTak, non-3P priced, updates of the 1987+ TransFormers? Yes, of course I do, but I can't help but want non-HeadMaster characters to STAY as non-HeadMasters.

    They look good and I'll probably buy many of them anyway, but that Sixshot art got me thinking how cool an official update would be WITHOUT the HeadMaster gimmick. It also has me worried if he'll actually have six-modes, or if they'll be sacrificed for the new gimmick. He'll need to be at least Leader-sized to make it all work decently, I hope. :sly2:
