I really want those BW repaints.

 

Do we really have to wait until october for MP Primal! The wait is gonna kill me!

 

Nothing we haven't seen before.

 

Soooo if I'm reading that right Rhinox is going to be around $50 and Rattrap and Waspinator will be around $33.

 

I really wish we knew how big scourge is compared to the generations one so i can figure which one would be sweeps.. the shorter one would be sweeps

 

Looks like Rattrap is more or less in scale with Primal, and considering how great that figure is, that'll hopefully put him low on the MP priority list.

 

Not a fan of those BW repaints. Sure, Rhinox is more show accurate but that means he has LESS paint-apps than the last Takara release. Rattrap is basically the same but I think the red eyes from the last one look better in robot mode. I prefer the gold from the previous Waspinator as well.

I still don't know if I should get MP Primal since he doesn't really fit in any of my collections and he doesn't really scale any better than the Legends version.

 

Man I feel like I just bought these figures a year or 2 ago! I'll take the Rhinox and Waspinator. I don't see any differences enough with rattrap to justify buying him again..

 

Yup, MP Primal is definitely going with my CHUG BW guys. The scale isn't perfect but it's close enough. Good thing I didn't buy that earlier one in the Legends line.

 

Oh sweet, I've been wondering how MP Primal scales with the Generations BW guys, seeing this I think it's safe to say I'm in.

 

I'm gonna get Rhinox if he's as easy to get as Micron Leader Megatron EX was to get.last year. I have Waspinator & Rattrap Hasbro versions that will do nicely but my.Hasbro Rhinox is still sealed bc I've seen how loose his hips are so I'd think/HOPE TakaraTomyo would have tighter tolerances

Optimus Primal, Computron and the Takara Heamasters are all pre ordered through hlj as well

Are those BW going to be general release or are they some kind of convention/mail/etc exclusive? Rhinox is a must - not sure about the the other two.

too bad hasbro isn't doing anything for the beast wars anniversary not even re-lease box set...

 

If they even make him at all. Judging from these pics, Takara might think that there's no need to make MPs of Rhinox, Rattrap and Waspinator since the Generations figures scale with MP Primal.

Interestingly though, they didn't use Henkei Dinobot in these pics. Obviously because he'd be out of scale, but perhaps because there's an MP on the horizon?

No Henkei Cheetor either. Hmm...

 

^they didn't use it because they're just showing upcoming releases. exclusive Rhinox and Rattrap redecos are coming out soon but Dinobot and Cheetor aren't.

I would like it if they made a new Dinobot or at least re-released the Henkei one though. Hasbro screwed up the colors and the Henkei one is expensive as hell on the aftermarket.
