Masterpiece Inferno would also mean a Masterpiece Grapple down the line as well.

It makes perfect sense Takara would mainly go for the characters that have remold possibilities more often than the ones that only have alternate possibilities due to Diaclone or something.

see this is why I'm staying clear of 3rd party mp toys. it happened with soundwave, shockwave the cone heads and now surprisingly inferno. Hasbro/takara is clearly taking note.

 

Masterpiece Artfire.. After all these years, could it finally be happening? Nearly too late, but I'd still get that MP to go with my Generations and custom PCC Artfires.

 

This is a pretty if it holds true. Hopefully they can pull off a really great mold since they aren't beholden to any licensers.

That said...it isn't Jazz, so I feel a twinge of disappointment.

 

I guess this explains Red Alert's reissue under the Plus sub-line.

I was thinking of giving the new Red Alert a miss but the thought of having him alongside MP Inferno is just too tempting.

Official MPs haven't been that great lately. Also, after the repeated paint problems on blue Bluestreak I don't trust them to make a purchase from them anymore.

 

Man I'm taking this with a huge grain of salt...but that text is promising. MP Inferno is what probably instigated the MP + line. They looked at MP-14 and said this won't do.

If it's decently articulated (ie: the legs can go beyond a sumo-squat and has a waist joint) I'll be in for this. Neither of the 3P options did it for me this time around.
