I haven't paid much attention to the Iron Factory line, because I'm not really up for Legends-sized Transformers. But if he winds up being close to Voyager-sized, he'll make a good CHUG-style Scorponok in the vein of Marvel or IDW Scorponok, where he was a big fella but not a huge fella.

Question.

Due to me haven't collect TFs for long time, I lost the sense of the toys' scales. Will it be same size if not similar to Toyworld's Infinitor ?

 

I want to know this too as I am really hoping it is, because I got the Grand Max version of that and I really want a Black Zarak to go with it!

I have no interest in a scorponok this small but man if its close to Toyworlds Grand Max and they make a BLACK ZARAK, I will be ALL OVER it ! its one of three guys from g1 that I dont have and it would be PERFECT for filling in that gap

 

Looks great! If he scales well enough with Infinitor and deluxe TR Headmasters I may have to bite!

 

Going to be pricey though. I hope after this guy they return to a few basic Legends sized characters as they have ramped up on Big-Guys this year.

The translation of the weibo text is a little hard to follow for me ... the salient portion reads "our own series is a maximum (silent laughter) near to V grade, the core of the head doesn't reach 1 cm".

Basically I'm not so convinced that this guy is going to be "Voyager" size. If we take the Headmaster in person mode to be about a centimetre tall, then Scorpy would be maybe 12? cm tall.

I'd love for this to be as big as big can be; fight with my Infinitor and all, but realistically I'm thinking maybe 12 - 14 cm is all we're going to get.

 

True to form IF do a scorponok and it is the best one we have seen. Now we know what the AFD claw unicron is...

At this point I want everything/anything they are doing. This is replacing all my other collecting focus as MY scale now.

If he was Voyager sized, how would he be in-scale to Legends at all? Marvel G1 Scorpy didn't tower over everyone else in the comic that I can remember. He was the same size as Prime and a little bit bigger than most other guys.

If he's Voyager sized, that makes him CHUG scale, if they are going with the comic look. I mean, that still works for me, as I'll stick him with the Function-X guys and he'll look great with them.

I'm kind of hoping he is Voyager sized, it would give me a good reason to get Infinitor knowing I can have a nice little line-up of 87 Headmasters that use the Marvel G1 sizing.

I would like it to scale with Grant but as Oshboggy kindly translates, that might be a pipe dream. No matter. They're quickly gonna get to Fort/Grand at this rate.

So in. So fucking in for what these guys are doing. To the point where they're becoming pretty definitive in my collecting focus. More smaller guys please, but damn impressed with their expansion of the scale. Shit.. I'm using that word.

 

Yea, I gave up CHUG stuff a long time ago and switched to just MP and Legends, and I haven't regretted it for a second.

The display looks amazing with Utopia at the center of it all.
