It's been awhile since I disassembled my Superion into individual bots. I noticed that I had to remove the thight plates from Silverbolt to remove his leg bots. I broke the plate off the little black peg in the process. Does anyone know if there's a way to transform between modes without having to remove them? Otherwise, it doesn't really make any difference that they work in all 3 modes IMO.

No hands, but GCI has a pair of feet in development as part of one of a few upgrade sets they are doing for Bruticus.

Sorry, my bad I thought they were talking about the Ratchet upgrade as I read the post above and thought the one I quoted was replying to that.

Doh! Sorry for any confusion :)

I love Steamshield's designs for Blastoff, I wish someone like Nonnef would collaborate with him. The texture thing is unfortunate with the Shapeways stuff.

Would it be possible to make new hands with wrist joint for the prime/Motormaster mold? not the combiner hands but the figures themselves.

Also, will they ever be released in G2 Superion colors?

Looks like the v2 CW feet are available for order. Only unpainted black currently available.

Question for Nonnef, if you see or someone that knows him sees this, are you/Nonnef planning on offering a set that would match/suit Computron?

The new description for the feet mentions they are being painted now and not molded in color. I'm assuming this speeds up production as their new machine is difficult to change the color on. I'm curious what implications this may have for the hands

Just received the BoneWhite V2 feet. I don't have the V1 feet to compare. The paint is a bit darker than the BoneWhite thigh-fillers, which themselves are a bit darker than Silverbolt.

They came pre-assembled, which I believe to be a change from V1. Also, there is only one spot, in the center of the foot, for the rubber tubing. Unfortunately, I seem to have misplaced one of the tubes.

I will need to Future up the pegs, but that might be a symptom of the PE kits having stretched the ports on the Aerialbots. I might also throw some Future on the paint to prevent cracking as I have no clue how well it will last otherwise.

I'm a little concerned about the status of the hands. They were supposedly shipping in March, and there still hasn't been even a prototype photo.

I emailed him last week and he said they were shipping. But I haven't heard of anyone getting them either. It definitely seems to be taking a bit to get them out.

Received my Menasor shoulder locks the other day. I had to trim the pegs quite a bit to get them to fit correctly in Motormaster's hand. Other than that, they seem to work very well.

Got my bone white V2 feet in today, among other upgrades, and Superion is looking good. :D

Admittedly they do have their faults, for one I feel the paint could've been done better. It's sprayed on kinda thick, the finish isn't great, and the paint has been chipping around the joints.

The plastic for the feet also feel a bit gummy/rubbery, not Superion's antennae level of rubbery, I'd say it's a little firmer than Marvel Legends plastic, but it's a noticeable difference compared to Nonnef's other products like the aerialbot nosecone set or the thigh fillers.

For some people those problems might dealbreakers, but if you can look past them and/or are willing to do some touch ups then you should get them. As replacement feet they get the job done and I already have another order coming in.

One thing I thought was pretty cool was how these feet were constructed. The only screws in a foot are the two holding the ball joint socket together, the rest of the foot is made out of parts with 5mm pegs and ports. Just taking a guess here, but this might be the beginning of modular foot system with option parts like different toes or ankle guards for specific combiners coming down the line. I'd love to see that.

    No problem! :)

Oh and a word of warning for anyone planning to replace Scattershot's arm ratchets. When Hasbro did the remold, apparently they decided that Silverbolt's/Cyclonus's shoulders weren't "secure enough" so they added a slab of plastic in Scattershot's "armpit"? to help lock it in.

In addition to that, instead of a dab of glue at the shoulder seam, they glued the entirety of the seam. As result, trying to pry his shoulder apart is almost impossible without stressing and warping the plastic.

Even after having practice replacing the ratchets in two Silverbolts and Cyclonus with no problems, I still ended up stressing Scattershot's shoulders pretty bad.

Prototype photo? You mean like the pics on his twitter page from around July 2015.
Hope your order doesn't have to go trough custums that might explain the delay.
