    And your point is?

Oh yeah, I should jump on the bandwagon and call her a bitch and wish her dead.

Mob mentality it is a good thing I guess.

If you don't see the point I was making...

...then I suppose it's a good thing I'm quitting the back and forth with you. :)

Incidentally, you'll notice I never wished her harm. Though I do think she's a stupid spoiled bitch.

No, I see your point I just don't think it makes any sense. I said her parents should serve her sentence because they are just as responsible for her as any other parent should be for their child, Esp considering the crime she committed. Accountability starts in the atmosphere that we're raised. Perhaps, if her parents had challenged her to make herself a better person then none of this would have never happened. She does have a responsibility for her actions, I just don't see the punish fitting the crime in this instance.

A real punishment (considering that the judge just wanted to make an example of her for her celeb status) should have been trash detail on the interstate or something along those lines. The situation made by all of this is just pointless, stupid, and detracks from the real issues that plague society.

And Drippy, I know you never wished her bodily harm. I know better of you. But the mass of posts that hate Paris simply because she is the girl next door except she has money and is famous are stupid. Why hate someone simply because the media makes her important? If she were anyone else, no one would gives two shits about her. But because she Paris Fucking Hilton, its like "OMAGOD FUCK that stupid bitch!!!". She could just as easily be any college type girl that we know going through the same shit. And the truth is that We all know tons of girls like this, but is Paris Hilton the sole cause of the problem?

Paris Hilton is a 26 year old woman. Don't blame her parents. Her younger sister Nicky doesn't get in that kind of trouble or present herself like her sister does.

    You've got to be kidding...

A 26 yr old a child? Her parents should get punished for what their ADULT daughter did? Geez... what you're saying is no better than those who wish physical/bodily harm on Paris!

    :dunce

And I think most people who are happy with the sentencing are happy because it's about time that a celebrity/socialiate doesn't get treated better than an average joe. Look at baseball for example, you have players openly admitting steroid use and still walking around yet an average joe gymrat who would get busted, even with just enough juice for personal use (not intended for selling) would be arrested. Sure if an average joe or jane got busted like Paris, we probably wouldn't be making threads about it - why? because we're 'brainwashed' to accept it - just like we're kind of used to seeing celebs/socialites let off - this time it's different because justice was actually served and not let slip through due to the defendant's social status.

Hopefully this will just be the beginning.

That is true, but Nicky has not been the focus of the media tabloids all these these years. Anyways, the younger sibling usually learns from the mistakes of their older sibling. And how has Paris really presented herself that is so bad? What she has a porn out? I have a porn with myself and an ex what does that mean? She has a reality tv show? Well, who doesn't? We live in a Youtube age where EVERYTHING that we do is recorded, and she is the poster child for that. I guess the solution is to punish her because she fucked up by driving when she shouldn't. And that is is what it comes down too we need someone to blame for celeb's sense of self grandure. Of course, you know we should blame our girlfriends for reading all the gossip magazines that make these people SO famous.

She does need to be held responsible for her actions, but does the punishment really fit the crime? And her parents do have a resonsibility to the raising of their child. That is the most bullshit excuse that parents are not accountable for the actions of their children.

And your the one with a pwned sig...ok. You act like she was Charles Manson for what she did. And if we don't start making the ones who raise accountable for our future then who do we really have to blame for the future of this world? WE are only a product of our environment, and Paris Hilton is a product of hers. An environment where our actions are not accountable by ourselves. I really don't expect her parents to do jail time, but they should fess up and say that they were not there to properly raise their eldest daughter to be a responsible member of society( a problem with the majority of parents today).

You can’t tell me someone in the court room wasn’t doing the sneaky cell phone video of her spazing out as they dragged her away.

She broke the law. Repeatedly. And she thought she could get away with it because she's supposed to be a celebrity.
    And she didn't.
    Good.

She was driving on a suspended license....that's against the law, her license was suspended because of 2 DUIs. That's pretty serious as she could've killed someone. Anyone of us who did that would deserve jail time. She's apart of society, thus has to abide by societies laws

The woman's bloody 26 and has some degree of intelligence. So as an adult there's a point where she needs to take responsibility for her actions. It's called sense of accountability. Blaming the parents would be just a weak cop out, they may be enabling her behavior. But that doesn't earn them the blame, it's not like the forced her to get drunk. She got drunk clubing around to one of her parties and no one forced her to drive.

And FYI Paris isn't a"bad person" because of her sex tape...that was an example of bad judgement on her part. People don't like her because she's an arrogant, pretentious spoiled princess.

She's also shown herself to be a person who lacks TRUE class. And considering the numerous times she's been caught on camera not just w/o her panties. But shamelessly showing she's not wearing panties.

Dude you make me laugh. Your campaign to make the parents of a 26 year old women somehow responsible is fuckin' silly. She is responsible for her own actions.

I agree with you on one point. This mob mentality of wanting to cause her harm is absolutely absurd. However, the reason for this mentality is for a number of reasons. Half of them are her fault, half of them aren't. She is a celebrity because of her behavior. That is the biggest reason. Call it jealousy, or whatever, but its hard to like a person who becomes "Hollywood" famous, when they don't have a lick of talent, or charm. The second reason is the media. They eat this shit up and spit it out to the public. Everyone is sick if it, and sick of her. The thought of her simply going away pleases people.

I'm not interested in typing them out but I heard some good points on the radio today about why she was let out and why 46 days is A LOT for some one in her case.... But I don't care, let her rot.
