Chances are he'll be next year's May Mayhem figure. I can't imagine they won't find some way to work him in. Besides, they'll be able to reuse the Blast Off name since it'll be in Titans Return instead of Combiner Wars.

Although... Protectobot Groove was used twice within the same line, so what do I know?

I do know Hasbro loves money. I do know they love getting our money. I'll bet we see him sooner or later in US packaging.

A year seems like way too long for Blast-Off. I feel like we aren't gonna get him. I bet the reason why we haven't seen G2 Defensor yet is because they were waiting for Groove. They saw no need to wait for Bruticus.

I'm disappointed they didn't do like they did with Grimlock and give his head a different name.

Really disappointed that he's not called "Brains"

Well, judging by one of the tickets that said the Deluxe price was $16.99, that means they'll [at least] be the £17.00 the CW's have been bumped up to in Sainsbury's et al. That's a deal breaker for me. I'll be importing the Takara versions as, perversely, they'll be cheaper!

Thankfully I only really want the original Headmasters and Overlord (and I'd want the Takara version as it'll be screen accurate), so it's not a major issue. But I think Hasbro is simply pricing itself out of the market when it's easily cheaper to import from Japan! That's not a clever move.

Excited to know that Overlord will be released next year. :D  Hopefully this means guys like Star Saber and Deathsaurus aren't far behind.

Hasbro's reuse of Groove, Streetwise, and Brawl heads for Afterburner, Lightspeed and Nosecone suggests otherwise to me.

I'm so, SO glad Takara is doing us G1 fans a favor. Also glad I waited for their combiners, getting it right the first time. If Hasbro does shuttle Blast Off then I'd get it sure, but this doesn't bode well for a G2 space shuttle.

I'll be more excited when I hear a size class and see some real pictures.

Hm, they were pretty vague about the stuff I was interested in. Seem to be a few 'maybe's, 'no plans yet' and 'we can't talk about that right now's. Still, the Overlord teaser prevented the panel from being an absolute disappointment.

He's got that sweet jeep to ride around in, and if they hold true to G1 Headmasters he'll up the strength of what ever body he hooks up to.

Do you need to be a member of the Transformers Collector Club to purchase the Botcon exclusives after the show? When do they go up for sale?

LOL Already on my way. Paradon Medic is only in the sub, right? And you need to be a member to buy the sub? It's all very confusing. :)

Overlord will likely be a leader class.. Robot mode, base mode, and vehicles mode.

Okay, so I can't join the collector's club. Guess it's ending 12/31 of this year. Is there something taking its place?

We don't know, Hasbro eluded to something, but there were very vague.

    Overlord steals the show.

I agree, BotCon is always in an awkward time between NYTF and SDCC, so they don't get much room to reveal new things.
