I haven't posted here in long, loooonnnng time but I want to just vent my spleen...
I HATE THE TF IDW HUMANS!!! I haven't seen the most pathetic, naive, clueless, stupid, ridiculously overpowered, a****holish a-holes in a Transformers Comic ever!!!
    Until this.
Can we just please, please get rid of them already?!! Like, somebody please just knock some sense into Optimus already and tell him to leave Earth to its own doom not 'annex it. Heck, I wouldn't mind if a bunch of combiners just rampaged through Earth, stepping on all of them.

Okay, maybe not all of them. Let's spare the children.

And now Prowl has gone down the same a** route. Ugh.

Look, IDW I get that you don't want to go down the G1/Sunbow or cartoon route by making all the humans generally friendly, if not apathetic to the presence of TFs, usually Autobots (save for that one episode where Megatron fooled them into believing the Decepticons were the heroes and the Autobots were banished) BUT CAN YOU NOT MAKE THEM ALL STUPID/A***LES?!

Mods Please feel free to censor my 'words' if I broke rules. I'll deflate in a bit.

I can relate, but I typically hate humans in general.

Verity's cool though. So was Hunter for a while.

    Always loved that moment.

I can completely understand where you're coming from, even if I don't necessarily agree with all of it. IDW Has had (And still does have) in my opinion, interesting human characters. Part of me feels like the human cast has been going downhill for awhile now, but at the same time there are still good moments with them. Maybe that will change in the coming years, anything is possible.

Will they get worse as time goes on? Possibly, but that all depends on the writers.

There's no need to be antagonistic, Haywired.

I can kind of agree except for three humans, Verity, Hunter and Jimmy. I loved those three a lot, until SOMEONE decided to kill of Hunter like a redshirt.

Everyone else on the other hand, nope. I hate Spike, Marissa constantly goes back and forth too much with her feelings towards the Transformers, and while Blackrock is actually a great character, he's not, you know, human.

As much as I love ex-RID at the moment, Earth is not doing any favours for Optimus, he should forget about them being part of the galactic group when he's finally put Galvatron's head on a spike.

More like amused. It's a lot of salt caused by humans who won't be anywhere around once this story arc ends.

I loved Verity, Hunter and Jimmy, still do. I like Spike enough, Marissa's the typical "STRONK WOMYN" character that's been done to death, but she's still likable enough (for now.)

You also raise a good point regarding how Earth treats them, I'm pretty sure that's why Optimus chose to annex them and not give them a choice, whether they like it or not, their worlds are intertwined.

In the humans' defense, though, Optimus' kind has caused a lot of death and damage to their world. But on the other hand, haven't humans done the same to their own world? Its a complicated situation.

Uh huh, since you're capable of seeing into the future, could you tell me next week's lotto numbers? :p

I think Marissa has improved a lot. I really couldn't stand her, or any of the Earth stuff when Barber had them return there after Dark Cybertron.

I despise All Hail Megatron for a number of reasons; Hunter's fate is a big one. Just awful and shitting all over clear seeds Furman laid and really, an interesting character.

Verity is great. She's also basically resigned to the Wreckers titles for the past few years.

Spike sucks. He is just so one-note and boring. For my money he is not a good antagonist, he is a black hole. I'd rather not read a comic with him in it than otherwise.

It's depressing we probably won't get any more likeable humans any time soon.

The old guard is practically dead and phased out. *sigh*.

I'm not a "humans in transformers" hater just a "bad human characters hater". Well, sort of. I do agree that the "kids" like Verity (though she's not really a kid, anymore) can be more tolerable than the adults and authority figures so far.
At least Pink hasn't turned out to be as much of an a*hole as Spike is/was.
Most of the humans in IDW? They've just bumped the Armada kids up a notch (though that' isn't saying much) on my list. Still annoyed by Kicker.

Meh. I'm over it now. I just had to vent. Btw, thanks for assuming I won't be around. Since I keep coming back to this comic series:rolleyes:

I don't get the addition of Marissa. Like we need another "badass strong woman" cliche who happens to be a familiar character in Transformers. They've already added more 'fembots'. Seriously, what is the point?
To get more female TF fans? I don't read/watch TFs regularly for "stronk womyn" characters (who are stronk because of their military involved/possess bad ass skills?). If I wanted to see "stronk womyn", I just look around.
