Anyone need a baseball cap? Or some headphones with Bumblebee on the packaging? Botcon 2016 - Apparel and Misc Merchandise Display Pics - Transformer World 2005 - TFW2005.COM
I used to be partial to those Alt-mode things, but now they look sort of wierd. The fact that every character is the same size (in particular Ultra Magnus being the same size as everyone else as opposed to being bigger) throws me a bit.
The only time I ever saw anything about those "altmodes" here was a local grocery store put up pegs for them... then before anything was even on the pegs they're put on clearance?
I need to get that Decepticon hat to wear in the summer when I'm not wearing my Autobot winter hat the rest of the time.
Curious question, but will you be putting Rescue Bot stuff under this thread so I know where to look?
Movie-style insignias on the thermoses? Pass. (movie-style insignias should ONLY be on directly-movie-associated merchandise--all other lines use standard)
The Autobot Thermos is the only thing that I want, unless new T-shirts or other clothing are shown next. As far as being "Movie" designed, I don't see it; they're not black silhouettes, or plain gray or silver, and they are G1 red & purple. Admittedly, they're soo close to G1 that it's hard for me to tell, but the Decepticon logo definitely has the more squinted eyes. The Autobot one is squint-eyed as well, on closer viewing, but it's close enough. I've been wanting a (non-plastic) red Autobot-symbol Thermos for ages. When, where, and for how much can I buy one?
Oh yes! That Alt.Mode UM shall be mine, can't wait to get him. A nice closer pic of him and the so called alt.mode would be nice.
Given how many people complains about how bad Dreamwave's art was, I find it amazing we're seeing it on licensed merch even now, 10 years after the company closed down.
I don't think they were, I think the grocery store (Krogers) just put up the pegs and eventually someone put clearances on the empty pegs because someone botches some paperworl.
I think DW produced some the best and most iconic artwork throughout the entire multiverse. Especially the covers.
Wow, those alt modes are laughably bad. No idea why Hasbro doesn't just license G1 Transformers to Funko like they did with G.I. Joe and MLP. You'll get Transformers fans buying the stuff plus Funko Pop fans buying them as well (and those fans largely outnumber Transformers fans), possibly getting to them to check out actual figures after the fact. This alt mode stuff will be something that lasts a few months and just fizzles out. Rather than compete with Funko, just partner with them and focus on something else. Funko Mystery Minis and Pop Vinyl just shit all over these. They are even trying to go for the Mystery Mini crowd with similar looking boxes.
So do these alt modes things transform? IIRC, i remember reading something to that effect a while ago on the boards
