Do any of those have free parking? Or will let us park there all day for the con?

Ikky will have a booth there and be selling his soap ducks.

I will be just walking around carrying these rubber ducks as a second option.

No free parking anywhere. I've now added photos of the parking rates to the first post. Time permitting I may go back downtown tomorrow and get more info. As you can tell from the skywalk map, the Cowger Parking Garage and the KFC Yum Center Garage also have skywalk access and would probably be good places to park.

When we were down there just now, we parked in an open lot at the corner of 5th and Muhammad Ali, and I think that lot was $5.00 for all day. But it's also not really convenient to the con.

That moment when plans change and you have no room for Botcon.

Is there anyone willing to pick up souvenir figures? Rather give the money to someone on here than ebay or the online stores.

    CAVEATS!

Most of the parking rate signs include a line about the rates being valid "excluding events," when there are more expensive rates. Now, I don't THINK Botcon will qualify as an "event" in the eyes of the Louisville Parking Garage Administration Guild (or, y'know, whatever), but be aware.

Also, I'd consider those GPS coordinates sketchy. I'm no geocacher and my GPS is dodgy indoors. Some of those degrees or whatever might be off, they were fluctuating even while I was standing still. I dunno.

Parking - even registered guests have to pay the full $15 daily. They mentioned a discount if you have it added to your room bill, but didn't offer it over the phone.

Rooms - No microwaves anywhere, even the executive suites. Total shitter there, as I typically pack food to save a shitload of money. Rep said none were available anywhere else in the place, either. Suites will have a dorm-sized refridgerator, didn't ask about smaller rooms. So if you planned to pre-pack food stuffz, you may as well bring a microwave and let me borrow it, too LoL

Okay, so I have a few rather stupid questions. This will be my second botcon, but my first with a primus package, so I was hoping some of you may have the answers I'm looking for. Both my wife and myself are attending and we're coming up on Saturday morning. I have a Primus package but we are planning on getting general admission for her on both Saturday and Sunday. Seeing as how I won't be able to pick up my primus package until Saturday, I won't have to worry about the free attendee figure running out prior to picking it up will I? Also what are the chances of any of the souvenir sets selling out before Saturday morning? Also we intend to arrive quite early on Saturday morning, should I be able to pick up my primus package before I get in line for general admission? Is there a specific time they open the package pickup on the weekend? Sorry for my plethora of questions, however I want to thank those who try and answer my questions in advance, so Thank you.

    Attendee figure should be safe.

Exclusives - it's unlikely but possible one of them will be gone depending what time you get into that line.

Dunno about getting in on Saturday when you're pre reg. I think iit's a half-hour before, so 830?

In the past, there have been tables over the entire weekend for pre-registered attendees to pick up their Primus packages. However, they allow this early in the morning (prior to when the dealer room opens up in the morning. The posted Botcon schedule might be able to give you more information. As for the general admission line, you can expect to wait in line for quite some time.

Thank YOU! :D  And, y'know, if you (or anybody) have any questions I didn't answer, throw 'em on up here. I realize we're coming down to the wire, here, but I'm in the Wednesday custom class so I'll be downtown again and I might be able to get an answer (if it's something I don't, y'know, already know).

Depending on who the custom class and souvenir figures are I might be willing to part with/purchase them for you. :)
