While I think the Tarn is Roller thing is inevitable, this would be an amazing story beat if it had an equivalent payoff!

as weird as this sounds maybe the regression is sort of a part of the development, if he hadn't, would there really be a mutiny still? Rodimus's incompetence one of the really major factors.

Okay what is real agenda Atomizer, He was successful Getting rid of Drift who supported Rodimus. He made a point to Undermine Rodimus even at the Trail. I get the feeling Atomizer is using Getaway to further his agenda where the Lost Light Command crew are gone.

 

What do you mean "What's with Atomiser?". He was confirmed as one of the key players against Rodimus. He also had nothing to do with Drift's exodus, he was just one of the more violent of the onlookers. That just supports why he hated Rodimus as captain even more.

 

It does seem like Atomizer has had a hate boner for Rodimus since the beginning. I'd like to know why he's such a malcontent.

I bet it's color envy. Rodimus is able to pull off Atomizer's look better than he can.

 

If he didn't why did Milne have him colored when other onlookers are not. Atomizer did throw trash at Drift. Heck there are ton of characters could had done that. Sunstreaker or Whirl and Even well the most ardent supporter of the Autobots who could not let fact that Drift used to be a Decepticon. No, Atomizer was there specifically.

I don't think it's that deep, dude. I think we already know that Atomizer is very anti-decepticon in nature based on his alliance with Getaway against Megatron, and his appearance there was exemplifying that fact.

 

Roller showing up out of nowhere would actually be an interesting twist, AND totally make sense too. He could say that he woke up floating in space, and Censurre found him and repaired him after the Lost Light left. How would he wake up in space? Simple, where did Rodimus and company first end up when they jumped back in the past? Say he was coated in some science-stuff, and dragged around with them after he was shot. Then, Terminus can be Tarn, and Roller can be back.

 

I don't have much to add except to say that I loved the issue, top to bottom, and wanted to say so here because I'd criticised so much of season 2 throughout these threads. I don't want to only weigh in when my feelings are negative.

More specifically, Ravage's betrayal, Ten's heart wrenching near slaughter, and the big reveal had my emotions in a swirl and at a fever pitch. I don't know if I've been that worked up over this book in a year, and I'm glad that Roberts still has that kind of control in his bag of tricks.

 

Pretty interesting twist that Ten is pointing them to.

It looks like he's pointing the crew to use the flowers as energy input into a shield generator - hence the scratched picture of Trailcutter on the floor...

 

Or that adding the flowers to the generator would bring the dead back to life.

 

I'm pretty sure the shield thing, which Tarn and Tesarus talked about pages before that, is a lot more freakin' likely.

 

Is terminus ....Tarn?

 

I'm wondering if this, in fact, is going to end up very similar to what happened *with* Trailbreaker, where they get the shield up, locking out all of the Decepticons *except* the DJD, who is trapped inside the shield with them for the next several hours.
