I felt like I have been in the dark as of late. I've been working crazy hours but still check the forum each day in hopes of seeing an updated test shot photo or news of a new design. Seems like right before CNY began, everything froze.

Have not seen any big updates for
KFC Dikta
KFC Junkions
Fanstoys grimy
Fanstoys galvatron or any new designs
No news from Badcube other than repaints
No news from Xtrans on their not cyclonus or galvs
MMC perfection series, a little news on head sculpts but nothing huge
Maktoys gave us some shots on a target master but nothing on howling meteor or other head/ target masters.

I feel lost, alone, and resisting the temptation to bump a thread. Sometimes the news and images are more meaningful than the figures themselves since I don't have a chance to mess with them these days.

Anyone else feel like news and images have dwindled from the larger companies? Other than an update for KFC reflector, I feel like all else is under wraps. Not sure if it's just me or if news and images have actually slowed down somewhat.

I'm still hoping the news of MMC's Carnifex's release coincides with me having enough money for it, that figure and Sixshot were to figures I've been basically dreaming of since I was 14 and a guy at Botcon wouldn't sell me G1 Overlord.

 

News has been quiet for a few months now. We usually get big reveals on a weekly basis. I kind of just assumed that many 3rd parties are keeping their cards closer to their chest now

Captured Prey is hosting another 3P event at a location satellite to Botcon next weekend so I think we'll probably get some answers then.

 

The third party market does feel a bit "dead" right now.

Most of the releases coming out are just plain uninteresting, I find.

 

Chinese new year always slows things down, why is it some people also get so depressed over a lack of updates as if them not coming is some kind of damning worrisome thing.

Updates come when they come, if your life revolves around waiting to see new pictures of things you want to buy then you may need to find some other life priorities or a new hobby. Its very unhealthy to get this way about toys of all things.

Literally one of the greatest transformers of all time is releasing in April and his name is Pandinus. MMC Seraphs main run has started, their MP Inferno will be out very soon too. Maketoys is manufacturing their Hotspot which will complete their Defensor - practically already guaranteed to be the greatest combiner to date.

FT has G2 stuff on way. TW and TFC are quickly moving along with their Devastator and Liokaiser, FP is finishing up their Dinoking and putting out their Diaclone Diabattles and DaiAtlas bots.

Their is so much going on in the coming weeks its crazy. Ya'll need to broaden your interests if you're not getting anything anytime soon. So very very much cool stuff on the way. I wish I had the money to get it all and I still have a giant backlog of things to save for as is.

 

*snort* no chance. It's good as far as Defensors go, but overall less interesting than Green Giant or Quantron imho.

 

I'm actually enjoying the silence. The past 5 months have been extremely expensive collecting-wise and my wallet needs to recover. Shit I have a ton of unopened stuff that I've had since xmas. No time to even enjoy it
