They wasted both Count Vertigos. The second one was more disappointing since they made it seem like he was going to be the main villain of the third season, but they punked him out. What a waste of Peter Stormare. Brick wasn't bad, but there's not much of a story they could do with him. I could see him as single-episode threats here and there. Clock King was great in the little time we got of him, but they wasted him as well. He could've been fun as a member of the Suicide Squad, but that's moot by now.
With the way this season seems to be headed, I'd almost not want another season. This one has just been one big mess overall.
A mess? I disagree. This one has fixed almost every issue we had with season 3. The only things they still need to fix are actually figuring out what they want to do with Merlyn and the pacing of the flashbacks. However, I do think Season 5 needs to be the final season.
It's a little weird to see a courtroom be so prevalent in this episode when Daredevil just premiered last week, and I don't think we've seen Laurel do her job in a while.
I really hope this Oliver/Felicity crap is resolved tonight one way or the other. Oliver can't do much right apparently even though his ex told Felicity to go easy on him due to the circumstances. If I was Oliver I wouldn't want her back. This has weakened the series imo . But the demographic this show caters too isn't my own. Other than that the episode was ok. Not stellar but ok.
This show has officially become insufferable. Cupid's acting is just so atrocious I can't understand how they film it without all rolling their eyes to death.
Wow, this episode was terrible. The Cupid stuff was so stupid, but they just freaking character assassinated Felicity. They turned her into a spiteful llittle ****bag in this episode. Totally uncool and I hope that she ends up being the one who dies. UGH!!! BTW, did they seriously just called the Suicide Squad, "Task Force X?" Please tell me they can still use the name Suicide Squad and that was just a mistake on their part?!
And this show got renewed for another season. I think after this season ends i'm done watching the show.
... Ugh. This really is getting far too close to teen drama crap that I couldn't stomach when I was a teen.
Wrong. The episode where it was intro'ed Waller called it Task Force X, Suicide Squad was name dropped by Deadshot. And the first Arrow-Flash crossover Lila talks about Captain Boomerangs service with Task Force X. The way they worked it was that ARGUS people called it Task Force X, inmate members (plus Diggle and Arrow) called it Suicide Squad.
Its getting to the point where I really wish they would kill Felicity! She really has become a spiteful bitch.... She's becoming what she accuses Oliver of being- someone who pushes everyone away. My wife (who isn't a fan of these shows) decided to give Arrow a watch last night and this teenage drama bullshit is what she got? And for someone who's code name is "Speedy", it took Thea way to long to get to Ollie....
So Arrow starts doing courtroom stuff around the same time Daredevil comes back for it's season..yeah this can't be coincidence.
This episode was terrific and made up for last week's. I hope Curtis decides to join them permanently, even if it is next season. Not surprised about the ending though. Ollie was a moron though in the flashback. Why didn't he shoot the dude when he was down?
