    Wait, I'm confused... Should I be happy I was one of the lucky ones who got this guy when he was released, or annoyed that it now seems we were guinea pigs for ironing out QC issues before fulfilling everyone else's orders? :lol  :mad

    You know what this forum is like by now. Apparently all v1's are made of dust and fall apart when you look at them, It's not possible to have a good one.

    Mine is good, The only realisation I have it's that it's greatly overpriced for what you get.

    did you [somehow] get one with no issues? i was under the impression that everyone that received him had reported some kind of defect, but if thats not true i definitely dont want to be saying that.

    no issues other than an annoying transformation... really annoying... really really annoying

    but in bot mode hes sooo stellar and fits my Masterpiece shelf perfectly

    I understand people with issues tend to be more vocal and want to warn others about them but when someone chimes in with good praise they shouldnt be shot down as lying or somehow defending the company

    Thats the thing with QC there are some good some bad, its up to the consumer to take the risk and buying but hearing only one side and assuming all are bad is unfair

    yes, it's fine to say you got one without issues. but to call people who didn't whiners is just stupid.

    I think I must have missed it when someone called people with QC issues whiners... if thats the case yes its stupid and we should be civil and just report on our copies

    i would usually agree.
    however, this is one of those rare cases where we can literally see there are currently more bad ones out there than good. there arent many out in the wild at all, maybe 10-15 reports on these boards and almost everyone reported something or other wrong, mostly that bolt on the foot. today is the first reports ive seen saying they got one that had NO issues, so this is a pretty low qc rate thus far. like 75-80% failure rate.
    there is no way they let anymore go out the door like this.
    i do want this, but ive been burned on 3 out of 4 early preorders from KFC, so i gotta wait it out till people get sick of v2 and the price drops.

    I posted about it earlier in the thread, but yeah mine had issues... I don't get why some retailers sent him out like that, if there are lots of people still waiting (especially if the reason is indeed to correct QC problems). I'd much rather have been kept waiting if it meant getting a better figure, given the choice.

    Yeah, if you've had an issue of course you should be able to say it without recourse or judgement.

    The problem is the hippocritial opposite - people who say they're happy with their stuff getting raked over the coals for being apologists, or having low standards, etc.

    That gate swings both ways.

    Just sayin'.

    I understand people's frustrations with feeling like they only hear about the bad eggs in the bunch... but the reality is that some batches have more problems than others. And this may be one of them.

    I mean, I was told specifically by a retailer that delivery of the bulk of the preorders were put on hold because the first batch had so many issues.

    I can't say whether or not it's actually true, but it's what I was told.

    Also, had the 3 things wrong with mine not been wrong, I could easily be here telling you that some of them came out just fine (which, I'm sure some did).

    That sort of well-founded gratitude would depend on the verification of a V2 that I asked about ;P

    Is there any reason to assume the delayed balance of orders is due to a second go-round at the factory? Or are they just draggin' arse?

    I don't have a problem with people voicing their problems with a toy. Obviously there is a bad problem with these. I never said there wasn't. I have a problem with Peaces telling Destron UK that no one cares he has one with no problems, just because he had something Remotely positive to say. I guess that makes me a shill.
