Ratchet left the Lost Light in a shuttle, so they do have a ship to leave the planet now.

...or will they end up taking the DJD's ship after Ravage finds it (hopefully, with him also taking out the remaining 'cons in the base with one of his 'sabotage' charges set [each of his missiles can be set with a timer instead of fired and has a 1 megaton yield]).

And yeah, I admit I kinda went crazy over that myself-- that's literally TFP Ratchet's face design but with a nose added. I always loved how much this Ratchet reminded me of the Prime iteration, and now they've got the same face! Anyone who wasn't reading all his lines in Jeffrey Combs' voice has little excuse now, haha.

One of the great thing about British Summer Time is we get MTMTE an hour earlier in the UK so at 7:30 am rather than 8:30!

I'm starting to think the message at the start of the last issue is a ruse designed to lure either the DJD or Getaway into some sort of trap.

But then what was the familiar shape Fort Max saw in the videos? I think we were meant to think gun but maybe it's just Rewind's camera.

Trailbreaker isn't resurrected. I mean come ooon. Maybe the residual spark energy makes them use his forcefield powers somehow?...yeah right. :/

At this point I'm starting to think either Megatron doesn't transform into a vehicle (though he looks like he ought to be a tank) or that he can't transform.

 

Also- Swerve sifting through the Necrobot's corpse dust. That is just sick Swerve.

 

Ratchet and/or First Aid point out early in Megatron's run on the Lost Light (I think it's Ratchet) that Megatron's frame is so fucked up, beyond worn out, damaged, that he might not be able to transform without severe damage or outright spark failure. They literally can't put him in a new body because the trauma would be too severe. An attempt to build him yet another new body would almost certainly kill him.

He's an absolute mess even before getting put on Fool's Energon.

Megatron is WEARY in all facets of his being. cog, brain module, and spark.

 

yes, but he IS a metallurgist. And apparently a good one when he's not being a terrible bartender. He's being SCIENCEY!!

 

I believe the idea was that they can use the flowers as a power source on the storm field generators to create a forcefield. That's why he drew Trailbreaker with his hands, to represent forcefields and why we had the conversation between Tarn and Helex about the storm field generators needing a large power source.
