The day is indeed fast approaching. Heck one week from today and I start my vacation time from work. A few days of getting everything set and ready and then off to Botcon.  

 

I've got some rubber ducks on the way that I'll be selling at the con. They're actual rubber and they have a little post on the bottom so figures can hold them. The post isn't 5mm so it won't be tight, but since it's actual rubber, you wouldn't want it to be. It's long enough to stay in the hand as long as you don't turn it completely upside down.

 

Botcon Custom Class & Breakfast

Have not posted in a lonnngg time.

Anyone in the Thursday custom class? Any guess as to what this year's figure will be?

Is anyone wanting to do a 7am Thursday morning breakfast meet up like previous years before the class starts?

We should be arriving Wednesday afternoon by 3pm.
I believe we are looking at a 9 hour drive from VA. I'm just happy it is not in CA again this year. We can save $900 easily by driving this year.

My brother and I will be in the Thursday custom class (provided we can get from where he lives in the Southern part of the city to the Galt House by 8 am!). We're both hoping it will be Ratchet. I've heard some other guesses that fit such information as I've seen officially revealed, but Ratchet's the possibility I'd be happiest with.

 

I'm in the Thursday class and I'd be all for breakfast beforehand.

I don't know how long it's been up, but I just learned of it myself. For those looking for shuttle service to/from the airport, FunPub has arranged with "Sandollar Limo" to provide a discount if you use the codeword "BotCon."

The link is found on the BotCon FAQ. I've also added the information to my Unofficial BotCon Louisville Survival Guide.

 

If I have known about the discount for the shuttle, I would have waited but I can see if I can talk to them and see if they can apply it to my reservation from the airport to the hotel.

I'll be in Thursday class as well. I'm thinking it'll either be Ratchet, or Unite Warriors Thrust done up in G1 Thrust colors.

And hey schedule is up! Going to be busy on Friday between contest setup, panels, and trying to get autographs all at the same time.
