Nothing much good to see here unfortunately. They really don't like to even paint Generations at this point.

 

The plasticy grey and drap finishing says alot doesn't it.

 

Powermaster Prime has the same cab Magnus has correct? So if that's the case, shouldn't Prime be able to transform without removing his head during transformation?

If so, then I may be in for the TakTom version.

 

The cab has been retooled, don't think we've seen a close up of how the head stores now. It's possible the titan master may be using the helmet as a seat in the cab.

 

Here's to hoping the head can stay attached when transformed to vehicle mode. 

 

Just read over the thread and pics and I'm really not that impressed! Yeah, there's a few I want, but not like before where I was buying Transformers left and right! Who knows, I still have to see it in person and in my hands in order to buy it.

 

This line is looking even better than RID2015 and Combiner Wars. I can't wait to get my hands on PM Prime, Galvatron, Astrotrain, and Chromedome.

 

Is it just me or are these bots missing even more paint apps than usual? Also I see that Hasbro continues to cheap out with the extruded off colored plastic to slap wheels around.

 

Similar expo errors occurred back the 80's too. Not much change.
Paint ? There is. You just choose to not see it, whereas in fact it is applied.

Universe 1.0 used pain apps decoratively with weird 'new' deco patterns
on iconic characters who never featured such patterns before.
And the 2006/2007 Seekers are still going to be smaller than the Titans Return deluxes, who will also feature more effective articulation than the old bunch.

 

Some people are nostalgic and say that Classics and Universe deluxes were almost MP quality compared to new deluxes, but they dont remember that most of those figures were smaller and less articulated than new figures. Seekers, Rodimus, Hound, Bumblebee, etc. Yes, they had more plastic, but were smaller and less articulated... paint apps, almost the same

 

I'm sure the retooling on the cab will give him the Powermaster bit at the front, and probably close off the front. However if you have a space Magnus you can swap the cabs and use some paint.

Hasbro always 'misses out on paint apps', its just that they've managed to hide it better before.

Well, at least its been that way since DOTM from what I've seen.

 

Man, that Titans Return stuff looks so nice... It's simply amazing.
