Can anyone tell whether the MP-22 reissue coin is the same as the original?

 

MP-28 is my first MP with a coin. Do you guys take the coin off the envelope or leave them in it? I was just curious.

I take mine off because I have a sweet little case for them. I will post a pic after I move it to its new location. It's wall mounted.

I never really thought about the coins. Most of the Takara items I have purchased came from sources that either did not have the coin included, ran out of a limited supply of stock with coins, or I did not feel like paying extra for the coin (like at BBTS).

I got my first coin when I bought MP-18B "Blue"streak. It's a nice little bonus item but since it's my only one, I just stuck in my box that holds all my instruction manuals. I thought about selling it but since pretty much everyone who bought MP-18B outside Japan got a coin too, the market is not too favorable for selling at the moment.

 

My bumblebee came with the coin. Who cares   i stuffed it in the box. Aint even worth the trouble to sell it

 

Cool,are they hard to remove from the envelope?hate to ruin it. Looking forward to the pic.

 

I've left all of mine in the envelope. They don't look easy to remove, so I'm hesitant to ever do so.

If anyone can hook a brother up with this guy, or point me to where I can find one, I would appreciate it. I believe it came with the Cybertron Con 2012 Singapore Universal Studios DOTM voyager Optimus Prime.

This is the only coin (as far as I know), that I am missing.

 

You pretty much have to rip the packaging to get them out they are taped to the inside of the envelope.

I've removed all of mine and I've got a procedure down that keeps the package from being ripped.

 

Can you explain the procedure for us?

 

No not really every packaging is different you really need to open one for yourself so you can see how the coin is held in place.

 

If you say they all are different then you can't have a procedure down.

I am sure there's some general insight that you could provide if you choose to.

I wasn't too fussed about the coins, but now have started collecting - albeit only for the MP's I have, or straight variation/re-releases there-of.

The MP08X King Grimlock coin seems to be somewhat rare!

 

Does anyone know if MP-11NR Ramjet has a coin? I've not seen mention of one yet or pics.

 

My ramjet did not come with one (from BBTS)

 

I will be disappointed if they stop doing the coins. Moreso than the coin itself, I like the presentation of the cardboard envelope it comes in.

If Ramjet is just a one-off, I wonder why. The only post-reboot MPs without coins previously were Tigertrack and the EVA/BAPE Convoys.
