Argh dammit. Can't buy one until next week. **SIGH** Well at least its not going out of stock as fast as the Eva Convoy reissue.

Which, on a side note, is getting a Weijang release too.

Mine should be arriving today finally...assuming it doesn't show up with a broken leg, how important is sanding down the arm ratchets?

I should have mine by the end of next week. After all of the great reviews, I just had to have it. All I need to now is make SOC like stand for this majestic masterpiece of a Prime.

I just received my M01 today.

First, a slight rant about shipping and the post office - he left Flushing NY at 5am one day and it somehow took 6 business days for him to show up in Cincinnati. Strange. From the time he left Cincinnati to the time he got to Dayton was another 36 hours to travel an hour north. Strange. That was kind of frustrating, lol.

Now, on to the figure, again just initial impressions, since I only opened him 20 minutes ago.

    - size is impressive, means aside from MPP10, he will be a stand out figure in my Prime collection.

    - paint and detail are beautiful on mine. Not seeing any defects thus far. The improvements over the original voyger are most welcome.

    - the weapons are a little bit same old same old in this catagory, especially if you own the UFO extras. Already having all the UFO pieces to go with the UFO trailer/weapons ring, the weapons just feel like a rerun. The swords are a little worse then the UFO and Takara official pieces, but are good enough. Would liked to see a new take on the swords, maybe some he could hold upright in his hands or a way to convert these to that style as well. The axe is a near copy of the UFO, just without a removable handle. The orange blades and silver head do make a standout piece from my UFO all orange and all silver pieces. The shield is very much the UFO shield with otange translucent plastic instead of the red paint. Have not tried the spare face yet, but it looks great. His guns are kind of underwhelming as anything but gas tanks, but at least they tried something different.

Now, here is what bothers me - Right off the bat noticed his right shoulder ratchet isn't working. Something just isn't clicking in there. The arm holds itself fine, but won't fully support the weight of the shield or axe and kind of droops back down. The left ratchet works, but has a lot of play between clicks. Also, his waist joint rotates very easily while handling and he frequently needs straightened. Some of his other joints are not as tight as on MPP10. But also do not seem to be causing problems. Overall though, his build feels slightly less durable... -wait- ... solid? But to be fair, there is more complexity in this movie design vs MPP10.

Honestly I am a little afraid to transform him at the moment, I was never very good at the voyager. I will attempt it later.

Mine arrived without the styrofoam between his legs, but both legs are in perfect shape and work fine. Packaged well. Protective plastic sheet over the robot, the accessories bagged and packed away nicely.

I'm going to spend some time with him and get back with anything else I notice.

He really is a beautifully painted figure, and will look spectacular posed next to all my Buster/movie leader variants and the DMK kits.

I would have to go back and see how many days he was actually in NY, it seemed like a lot. I thought for sure when he finally left NY the worst was over, since that's a mere 8 hrs away driving. Figured 2 to 3 days and he would be here. Lol - nope.

Looking at him standing here, I would really like to see what they could do now about modernizing the ROTF mold we all love so much. Things like adding in the thigh wheel mod someone here made, modding the shoulders like we have so that the shoulders look more accurate, removing the electronics so the torso and backpack could be streamlined. Add a waist joint, better smoke stacks, better hands, and some kind of new way to fold the rear tire fenders flatter to his back. They pretty much achieved those same points in this figure, and if done, I'd be open to buying another version of the movie 1-3 style. Oh and get rid of the gears in his chest, the ultimate editon looks so much better with the tinted chest windows.

I just transformed mine to alt mode. It's very similar to the original voyager, which I never really got the torso into cab transformation down, so it was touch and go for me here too. I followed the instructions in any case and got it, but once I transform it back I'm keeping it there. All of the ratchet joints work and I've found no flaws in the paint. I really am floored by this one. I thought MPP10 was amazing already but this guy is a winner for this KO company. Now I wonder which Bumblebee would work best to display with.

I see this one as being more-or-less Human Alliance scale. That's what I intend to display around mine. As much as I disliked the movie twins, I still wish someone would KO Mudflap so I could have that mold.

Got mine today, excellent packing from zhouxialinanlu on ebay ($99 + $10 Shipping). Everything works well, transform it later after I show it to the wife this evening for the ritual eyeroll and sigh.

Smelled a little factory ripe at first, but it is okay now.

Mine sat in L.A. for almost 10 full days. I started to worry at day 5.

That would be annoying. The stay in NY was not that long, without a doubt.

Apparently mine landed in Sydney on the 6th, still waiting. Torture.
