I have that too, and the stress marks are really bad, what mod did you do for it?

Is this the best he can do to hold his swords? Looks like the hilt should go further into his hand.

 

I ended up cutting the pegs as short as possible, little by little to ensure that the tail still locked into place, in order to create less leverage and keep the tail from prying the peg off entirely. I also sanded the pegs a little bit thinner, then let a drop of super glue dry on each side of it in order to create a bit of a mushroom at the end. When I was done, I warmed the pegs up with a hairdryer until the stressmarks went away, then sprayed the entire thing with a matte finish to blend out the shininess from the super glue.

The tail still pegs into place, not as securely as it used to but still well enough to not come loose. This has been the only really bad engineering problem I have had so far with this line (though I'm waiting for something to practically explode on Summanus after reading that thread) and I'm surprised that you and I seem to be the only ones having this issue.

Mine go all the way through his hands as well. But the part above his hand, that what you didnt show, looks weird, as I shown.

On my Quirinus one of those pegs just broke.

 

Sorry to hear that. Where did you order from? Maybe you can get a replacement, if there's been enough complaints.

 

I bought it from BBTS and contacted them a few hours ago. I hope they can help me out with replacements. PX FB was redirecting me to them.

 

I got mine from there, too. If it helps, I can definitely corroborate that I had the same issue if it comes to that.

 

Nah. I don't feel like scamming them. I will pay for the replacement parts. After all I broke it. I just would love to be able to buy them.

 

I had this issue right out of the package-- massive stress marks on those pegs; I assumed you did, too. I didn't realize you broke yours. I'd never suggest scamming anybody.

 

I love this figure, but thought that the head was too dark grey. So I painted the front of the face silver and I think makes all the difference.

 

Wow, that does look better. It didn't bother me until you said something, but now I need to paint mine silver as well

 

Does anyone have comparison photos of Quirinus with Adventure Slug? Technically Adventure Slug is the only HasTak transforming toy made of Aligned Slug, which this toy represents.
