YES!! I speculated this ages ago in the MP speculation thread, a few other guys have guessed it too. Makes total sense since they has obviously made the mould for these faces.

I was thinking about just picking up this guy after the release date, but after these latest photos I just have to pre-order him. He looks incredible!! Now who to sell to finance him...

The hi-res images confuse me a touch. The image of all the faces show yellow eyes on the "yelling face" only. Is it safe to assume that he comes with 4 faces total? 2 yellow eyes (normal & yelling) and 2 blue eyes ("remolded original")

I always imagined MP Powered Convoy would come with this. Somebody really should make it.

 

I said I could see Carly and Marissa being included with Delta Magnus and TT met me half way. I'll take it! I wish the human characters had a little more detail (eyes at least) but I'm happy they exist none-the-less. Break out your Flint and Lady Jaye figures and you can pose that Marissa with them for a family photo!

 

I preordered this guy on a whim thinking ehh , maybe I'll cancel him later . After seeing these new pics plus the little extras though , my preorder will be stamped in cement . Well played Takara .....

Yup. Since Takara's not, a third party should be stepping up here. It's something I'd view as essential to completing the Diaclone-ness of the figure (as much as possible, given the differences of MP-22 compared to the original toy).

He still looks gorgeous, but yeah that shot of him next to Magnus does make me wish the trailer was darker blue so he'd be more distinct.

 

I'm not interested in this diaclone version, so I'll just look for the 2 UM sunglasses faces on ebay.

 

Damn it I want that Marissa Faireborn, but nothing else.

 

I really like this, with two minor qualms:

1) The blue on the trailer. I really wish this was the dark blue used on the diaclone and the TF reissue. This bright shade doesn't do it for me, although I love it on the cab.

2) The new eyes / goggle style works well, but why don't we get THOSE in yellow? I want to differentiate this from Ultra Magnus as much as possible.
