    Perhaps it's for naught to even mention it, but it's slightly depressing that the only reason Bay is coming back to the franchise AGAIN is because studios don't want to make other types of movies. It depresses me for the film industry as a whole and for this beloved franchise that directors are HAVING to make films like this in order to continue working. Fortunately Bay knows what works for the franchise in a filmic setting, but I can't help but feel fresh blood and a fresh perspective might have been nice.

    transformers movies are becoming what I call an alimentary movie.

    If serves one purpose, to put food on the table, that's it.
    they are milking the cow to the point of killing it.

    That's a 22 minute drive from my house, or 25 minutes from my work at the GM tech center where they filmed some of the last movie.

    I grew up right around the corner from what is now the Michigan Motion Picture Studio. It used to be a K-Mart with an adjacent video store that had the original TMNT in the lobby. True story.
