    ^This.

To add: FT just had two not so good releases but were great previously. The last TW figures I bought before these were the first 3 Throttlebots with no issues so I had no reason not to buy these. TW is providing support, which is all they can do now. KFC is just horrible and I have to question as to why anyone continues to buy from them. Xtransbots is another story.

TW has not had the best track record, just look at their Dinobot combiner. The individual bots looked great, but when combined the thing tilted and did't even peg well, and from what I can tell Devastator has the same attachment points.

TW is providing support to selected retail serves, so in my books that's a lost for a lot of people that don't go through the big sites. They need to step up here and support all retail stores.

ughhhh i came here to check out sweet photos before finally ordering (as i no longer PO unless early bird specials) and just read through several pages of disappointment... big head and small waste is one thing... but broken joints... dude? really...? DUDE!

doesn't sound like its gonna be fixed... guess ill keep waiting until we see gestalt reviews as that's how id probably have him posed (sans crotch thrust)

It is possible that the fixed parts can be obtained through someone like BBTS despite not ordering through them. I had ordered Gigs Guttur through toy dojo and I got replacement parts sent from a different retailer. So I wouldn't jump to conclusions until we know for a fact if support is only if you bought through those retailers. A lot of people on here seem to be jumping off cliffs and jumping to conclusions. Gotta wait and see what happens first.

That's good to hear but would you happen to know if you didn't go through BBTS that the parts would be additional cost? I can see them sending out free replacement parts with the next figure to compensate for the shipping and handling fee, but what if you are going through a small retailer? Even if the replacement parts are free who will be paying the S&H fee? Will TW pick that fee up or will BBTS have to swallow that lost, or worst yet the customer has to pay extra to have a non faulty figure? I just can't see a good out come with the current solution.

Since you have dialog with BBTS about this issue, could you ask them if we bought the figures from them and if there are replacement parts down the line can we get the parts if the elbows break 6 months from now?

Not to say people aren't having problems but I have absolutely no issues with my first two figures. Maybe a retailer or two got a bad batch ? I ordered from TFSource and mine are perfect in terms of quality. The shoulders and elbows haven't cracked or even shown stress marks. Heck they are not even tight enough that I am even concerned about this. The plastic quality is good and the joints are snug enough to make the figure sturdy in poses but not so tight that there is risk of breakage. I have fiddled with these for a good bit now too. The only thing that is absolutely very tight are the combiner joints, but they kind of have to be in order to support a combiner of this size. I just wonder with that level of tightness the socket where these joints go better be strong or the stress of using this joint could cause breakage. I can't wait for the rest of them to show up at my door. I'm pumped!

This is a really good question, seconded! I bought mine through BBTS also, so it would be nice to know if they plan to help out if TW makes his right down the line.

Hi Everyone, as strange as it turned out, we received our shipment of TW-C05 Shovel and TW-C06 Concrete in stock before TW-C01 Bulldozer and TW-C02 Unearth

Apparently our Bulldozer and Unearth will be coming from the second run of figures which should be good news from what we understand.

The amount of anger and hate towards TW is staggering! I can literally remember when everyone was praising to high heavens for these as the first MP-like Devastator.

And, now, some people have qc issues and some retailers for their own selfish reasons start slandering TW and suddenly these are garbage!

TW said themselves that they support their product. Twice. Speak to your retailers and sort it out. What's different to every other company that has qc issues out there?

The truth of the matter is this. Retailers are loosing their mark ups when they have to ship replacement parts. End of story. That is not our problem. If they don't like the deal they are being offered then they don't have to stock them. Simple.

And the retailer that posted earlier? If they are a special order (upon request) why publicize it? You.don't.have.them.as.general.stock. Weird right? Email all your special orders and let them know you are stopping. But no! You have to make it public? To what end i cannot understand. Especially when the manufacturer says they have no relationship with you for one reason or another.

I just got MMC Seraphicus. I have splotches of paint on his windshield. I have stress marks on the pins underneath the hood.

I guess since these are issues this is garbage. Especially for $200 for a voyager (barely one at that). MMC is not providing replacements! Quick burn them at the stake!

I suggest that everyone should relax and let things unfold. Those unsure? Not a problem. Wait for us that get replacements and we will inform you right away. Without bias or personal gains.

Everyone else lets continue chatting about these responsibly. Remeber. GT had issues as well (more important to me than the issues these have) and i don't see anyone jumping ship over there.

Again with bashing the retailer! I don't understand it and I'm sorry if I'm coming off strong here but the problem lays with TW not the retailers.

First off ToyWorld has stated that they will supply replacement parts... good on their part right problem solved, but wait only selected distributers will get replacement parts!?? What about those folks that have a flawed figure that bought from other sources? That’s what really ticks me off! 3rd party and even Hab/Takara will have QC issues, but to this level is unacceptable by me, it may be fine for you, but if I’m dropping a 100 bucks there better be little no QC at all. I can take Paint apps being off or tight/loose joint, but if the figure breaks after a handle full of transformation due to a faulty design or plastic that is used is just bad business.

As noted before, if people didn’t order from TFsource or BBTS who’s covering the Shipping and Handling cost? Is it TW like it should be since they are not supporting all retailers or is up the retailer themselves that have to eat the cost? I don’t blame retailers backing out of this deal? It’s just absurd that people blame the retailer like they caused the issue or that they won’t supply the replacement parts (which will more than likely break if it’s the same design/plastic).
I was on the fence with TW Devastator, but ultimately I went with Gravity builder.

I was extremely nervous going with a new company, but they show heart and you can see they love their figures. GT GB has minor QC issue like floppy hips on scraper and stressed hand covers on scrapper as well, but GT handled that situation professional and had replacement parts out within 6 weeks I believe, it could have been a month, I can’t remember for sure. MM and Scavenger have been flawless for me, but to be honest there have been minor QC issues (not to this level).

I’m a Transformers fan and I don’t hate on companies, but I just get upset when a company treats its fan base so harshly and pushes out crap in the lack of better words.

Rant over LOL. Again I’m sorry if I coming off here harsh or mean, but I just don’t want the Transformers fan base to be treat like this, it’s just wrong in my eyes.

Same. Hit that button so fast. Now I'm thinking about returning my bbts ones and wait on TCP for the second run.

Should probably find out if there's a difference in the second run first.

PS, every time I see your user name I think STFU...I like it.

Yup I got that same response from bbts a few pages back. I just really hope Toyworld holds true to their word and actually contacts the retailers because as of yet they haven't.

Done. I've asked them how they plan to support the figures down the road. ie: What if I have no problems now, but a year down the road my elbow snaps? I will update with their response. I'm going to ask to the fixes regardless. I would rather have them and not need them, than need them and not have them.
