For the customer it would be best if they just redid the arm from the bicep swivel down to the wrist, as both are attached via mushroom type connections. However, I doubt they will do this because it would require recreating multiple pieces, and they would have to be assembled. Realistically I think our best case scenario is a new elbow joint assembly from the bicep swivel to the forearm, with the consumer having to handle reattaching the forearm.

I know from past dealings with BBTS that they prefer the customer not have to pull screws and disassemble a figure for repair. I can't remember the figure, but I had a situation in the past where I needed some replacement parts that would have required disassembly, and they just replaced the entire figure. I let them know I was capable of the task, but they said they didn't want the customer to have to do that. They went on to explain that if the repair could have been made via a mushroom swivel or ball joint they would have just supplied replacement parts. That's been a few years back, so their polices may have changed, but I can't imagine them expecting a customer to drive out and repin a joint. Guess we will see, I've got an on going email with them regarding my first two ToyWorld Constructor figures. I sent them a message regarding the support ToyWorld statied they would be offering for confirmation and further details, but don't expect to hear back until Monday. My Unearth does any a hairline crack in one of his elbows, so whatever the solution I will be requesting it.

Strange. I watched the video earlier. Not to impressed with the figure, too boxy. The only thing great about it is only the size.

I think they could have done a better job with the lower legs...I like what GT and TT one did with their Scrappers' lower legs..They are too thick. Also the black flaps should have been green instead...Other than that i really dig him

I had to replace a flap on the hip of Apollyon, which is attached with a pin, and they just sent the flap. But all I asked for was the flap, so I don't know what they'da done if I wasn't comfortable knocking out the pin on my own.

They may have changed their policies, especially since so many figures now days seem to do need fixes, or it could have just been the particular customer service rep I was dealing with. I'm very interested in hearing back from them in regards to this.

if pins are involved they defiantly discourage it. my FT Soar figure had a bad knee, and they wanted to send a full new figure to me. even though i already took mine apart and found the issue, they deemed it to hard to fix. there was a pin involved, it was an easy loose pin, but that didn't matter. ultimately i took the advice from a board member and swapped screws and it worked like a charm. but yeah, they are still a bit stingy on letting the costumer do repairs that they deem too complex.

Here are my pics. Cracks and broken peg because of the really really tight joints.

awesome, just what I was waiting for. Glad to hear Toyworld will be working with BBTS (and others) for replacement parts. I didn't want to bother them any more than they seem to already have been without a statement from Toyworld. Let's see what BBTS has to say back.

Robot kingdom told me to wait about two weeks to get parts from toyworld. Seems pretty reasonable so long as they actually send fixed parts.

thanks for the warning about those shoulders. I tried to remove the peg so I could lightly sand it but damn is it on there tight...I was more worried about breaking it trying to fix it than I was just leaving it alone

so they have actually heard from Toyworld then?

'We' have actually heard form Toyworld. They posted here themselves. That's good enough for me. I fully expect them to follow through. They are making quite a bit of money form these figures. Each person that buys one is almost guaranteed to buy 5 more. I bet their customer service is going to change for the better right now haha. Especially if they have another combiner in the works. Lots of potential sales will make them stay honest.

I don't understand why people still support companies like toyworld or TFC when they have these kinds of issues. Are TF collectors as a group so hard up for figures that they will succumb and justify purchases like this.

There is no way these figures should have even left the factory if there are issues such as this. Same goes for all of TFC and X-Transbots items. it is obvious they do not care in the slightest what crap they are shoveling out the rabid fandom as the fandom continues to eat up this garbage.

There is one thing for a figure to look good but that does not justify paying out the nose for a transforming figure if it can never transform for fear of it falling apart. Buy an action figure then, not a transformer.

So should we contact BBTS directly or wait to see if TW plans to send out replacement parts with the last two figures?

Because they still make great figures, if not 100% of the time. No company bats it out of the park on every figure, so you take the good with the bad.

Of course your question is a valid one and is one that I consistently ask myself when I buy a new KFC figure. Their plastic quality has to be the lowest of the third party companies out there today, their QC is the pits and they consistently deliver the worst quality products of all of the third party companies. But even they sometimes deliver an Andras; arguably their best release thus far. Items like this give a collector hope that better and more consistent product is on the horizon. And then they release Arkose, which IMHO is back to their old tricks of poor just about everything.

    So here is BBTS' response:

"Thank you for following-up regarding the Constructions you have received. We have been receiving a fair amount of feedback regarding the two figures released thus far. We have not yet confirmed if replacement parts are going to be supplied at this time or in the future, however, our Product Team is aware of this matter and we will be happy to inform you once we receive any additional information. In the mean time, thank you for recognizing the importance of the fragility with the figures to help alleviate further complications from arising with the affected areas.

When circumstances such as this arise with newly released items, we appreciate your patience and understanding that if the decision is made to produce and provide parts to retailers for customers, it can sometimes take several weeks or months to finalize the process. As we are working diligently at confirming if this is the manufacturer's intentions to offer replacement parts for these figures, please do keep in mind that we are only able to offer returns within 30 days of receipt of items shipped by BBTS. Ultimately, the decision will need to be made to either return the figures for a refund, or keep them as-is with the appreciation that there is no confirmation at this time that replacement parts will be provided.

Please let me know if you have any additional questions as we are always happy to assist you.

Thank you for your support, and have a wonderful week ahead!"
