Cool that it's open to the public, but this is a definite pass for me. I'm just glad it's not taking the place of the game/casino night, as has been the case with BotCon concerts in the past.

If they had all of the bands from the soundtrack it would be a no brainer, but just for this I can't decide if it's worth it or not to go.

This is a really nice event for BotCon. If I was attending this year, I'd definitely check out this concert. But alas it's a pass for me.

It's not often do you see musicians peek out from behind pictures of themselves :)

Who would pay to see this? It has to be free because no body would, and if you would pay to see it pls reply. It reminds me of comedy sketch, where the old guys are still trying to hold on to some glory days, but these guys really never had any glory days.

I would pay to see it as long as he sings Fight to Survive. Either way I'm there.

Wow... I gather you're not a fan of these guys. That's fine, but please don't use my apathy for concerts in general as a springboard for criticisms of these artists, who both have made significant contributions to the Transformers franchise (regardless of whatever anyone outside of our fandom may think of them).

I'm not going because I'm not a fan of concerts. That's all.

I wish they would do a BotCon and stuff like this closer to the East Coast. There aren't any fan conventions anywhere near New England much less some of the East Coast last time I checked. Correct me if I'm wrong. It was in Rhode Island 1 year and all the other times it's in California or the south and mid-west areas of the states. I'm surprised they don't do it more on the East Coast, since ya know, Hasbro headquarters is in Rhode Island!

I think they avoid the east coast because during the summer, it's pretty god damn miserable out there lol

Not always true. But I guess you're right. Weather is a bit more unpredictable here on the East Coast.

I live less than an hour away from Fourth Street Live, so even if I somehow can't make it to Botcon you bet your sweet ass I'm gonna be there. Between this and Ghostland Observatory being on the Forecastle lineup I'm thinking I should have skipped WKU and gone to UofL instead (even if their teams do suck).

The concert is open to the public because 4th Street Live is an outdoor venue.

Sure Stan Bush isn't the "rock star" in the traditional sense, but the guy is making a living playing music, which 99% of musicians can't say. He's worked with some big names (Alice Cooper, Peter Frampton, Paul Stanley), in addition to all that the guy has won an Emmy and has worked with numerous song writers.

With the exception to the remixes he did to try and get on the TF feature film soundtracks, he's stuck to what he likes playing, and for that I respect him greatly.

Do a lot of people like his music? Not really, would his songs be popular with Transformers fans had they not been included in the movie? Hard to say. I can say for me, I enjoy his music, it's fun, and I own several of his albums and have seen him perform at some of the past Botcons.

I'll go. It's always been a fun time for me when either plays.
