It sounds like the good folks over at GCI toys *might* cook up a fix. Honestly, I'd rather have replacement parts from them anyway.

Wow, this set seems to be next warbotron Bruticus.

Happy I skipped the hype train. Feel bad for all the folks out there that got duds and hope things get sorted out for you all.

Really questioning if I should finish the Dino combiner with their red swoop or if I should just sell the 4 bots that I have and call it quits on TW going forward.

It is a full crack. I don't know if you are talking about the picture I posted, but there was another one, Here is the link to my original picture.

    http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/trans...vastator-constructicons-400.html#post13357834

Here are updated pics, I am applying a bit of torsion to the lower arm to show that the hairline crack opens up and is fully propagating through the whole width and diameter of the plastic.

By being careful I easily transform the arms still and pose them fully. I just have to be careful not to fiddle with him too much if I am not paying close attention.

I tried taking the lower arm apart, I removed that screw that is directly screwed into this joint section, but there are no other places I could see to disassemble the lower arm. I was hoping I could disassemble it, and try gluing the hairline crack together.

Hi all, I just got bulldozer from BBTS and transform him once, Some of the joints are very tight (specially the shoulder joint). The threads on one of the legs feel a little loose but they both have 36 individual thread lines weird. Anyway, I can see the issue many of you are reporting very small crack on one arms. I loosen the screw and rotated many times doesn't seem to get any worse. The other arm seems fine

I am already 3 figures deep in GT, but I am really thinking about completing this set and selling my first three from GT only have room and $$ for oneā€¦ I love the sheer size and look of this guy. I got him to test the waters and had no intentions in finishing this set, now I like him better than scrapper GT best figure so far IMO. My only concern is the obvious QC problems getting worse with the upcoming releases. Anyway for the first two figures what could be the solution a whole new arm piece? I can live with this small crack of I glue it maybe it won't get worse, but my fear is can this get worse over time.
    thoughts?

You can compress the legs (for switching out threads). Check if one leg is not fully extended. I had the same problem and now it's ok.

Yeah as I stated before my figures both have cracks but really as long as you are careful they are fine. I've transformed them back and forth like 4ish times each and never noticed the cracks

What really bothers me is this is how Bonecrusher's elbow came when I originally took it out of the box the first time...someone screwed up in assembly. Now I know I can't get replacement elbows for the cracks but I wonder if I could get it for this? Even if the replacement part cracked it'd be better than it looking like this. Purchased from BBTS on the first run

Well, I'm glad I skipped these guys. I'm really surprised and disappointed about reading all the QC stuff. I hope the fix it all up. Total bummer. I have their Orion (Comic version) and he is awesome. I know there were problems with the initial release so perhaps they will fix the problems on future releases. KFC and X-Transbots have the same stuff going on all the time also. I guess you just gotta skip the initial release and wait till the second wave comes along too bad :(

honestly I think if you guys are skipping these figures based on cracked elbows than you are REALLY missing out. My figures had the issues and I didn't even know it if that tells you anything. It's not affecting the figures (at least so far that anyone has said) and other than the elbows these are amazing works of engineering and are so fun to mess with. I've never bought a perfect figure before and i'm not going to miss out on these guys based on elbows (especially when they will forever be combined anyway by most of us and you'll never see the cracked elbows ever again)

Noticed my Unearth has a crack in one hinge also... Is there anyone that has a 100% good unearth? Also I opened and transformed him already, but because of this widespread issue, will BBTS allow us to return the figure? At this point I'd rather go with gravity builder

My Unearth doesn't have full blown cracks, but I do believe I can see tiny stress lines, or maybe I'm just being paranoid at this point!

Yes, BBTS will allow you to return the figure even though you opened it and transformed it. Just shoot them an email.

So neither my Bulldozer nor Unearth came with directions. Not a huge deal but weird. Haven't had any real time to fiddle with Unearth since I've been so damn busy at work (and sick). Bulldozer is fine though.

My Bulldozer and unearth are good.
I went home and looked last night.
I got mine from TFS which got their shipment later than BBTS.

I wonder if that has anything to do with QC.
Like 1st run vs 2nd run for order fulfillment.
That's why I don't buy the first year of a new body style car.
Theory is the same. Just a thought.

Scratch that...I don't have Unearth yet. Still in shipping. I've got Navy (who did not come with directions).

Seriously 3P's, did you have to release two different sets at the same time?
