I just received this figure today and I have to say that Takara hit this one out of the park. The transformation is complex but not overly difficult. The joints all click into place nicely and panels disappear into legs. The only thing that People could be frustrated about are the hip side flaps but they do not bother me.

All in all this figure is constricted very well. he is sturdy and not overly tight anywhere. The paint application on mine was excelent. I also love how the back of the head fin slides forward to make it easier to remove face plate.

I think this is one of the best figures they have made in a long time from an engineering standpoint.

 

I received my ironhide today. I agree with the posters above that this figure is amazing. Both mods look great, transformation is really cool but not overly complicated, no loose mess like some figures out there.

This is a great figure through and through. Definitely worth the money. Way better than the dissapointing Tracks.

 

i finally opened mine and transformed him.. awesome figure and money well spent!! easy to transform back and forth. i cant wait for ratchet to get here from hjl..
