Yup... that pretty much sums it up. :)

I remember seeing figures a certain price points, and thinking they were just too expensive to even think about owning... my wallet would be a lot happier if my perspective hadn't have changed so much. lol

I'm getting a hunch that you're the type of guy who's into minibots.

    Dude, that's amazing.
I'd love to do the same thing with Huffer.

Two awesome collection shots. Didn't know that many cliffjumper reuses even existed, and you can't go wrong with the Micromasters

Cool! Well done, brr-icy. I owned the Metamorphs KO before getting the vintage original. It was pretty nice, but the original looks better, of course. The reissue seems to have pretty nice paint adds.

Yep, nice comparison brr-icy. Incidentally, I have the metamorphs vintage ko on the way, looking forward to getting my hands on it. I also have a reissue sixturbo and a reissue sixliner coming so for someone who said they were not a fan of combiners I have bought quite a few recently!

I have a few Metamorphs Micromasters. The moulding is accurate, but, unfortunately, the plastic quality is much worse than that of the originals.

I thought it was interesting that the "Skyhopper" KO is using the Japanese Sky Hype deco.

It's probably the only one I'd buy. Micromasters are so cheap anyway it's kind of pointless to buy a KO otherwise.

since the new headmasters are becoming a thing, i fished snapdragon out of the cupboard and transformed him a bit today.

despite having a seriously terrible dragon/dinosaur/flid mode i still facking love that toy. I hope they do an updated version that does him justice.

Snapdragon was the first Headmaster I ever completed, I would love to see an update of him and Apeface. I also loved how their Headmasters worked as both robot and beast heads.

Oh yeah, I won Flywheels and Joyride in an auction, about $45 shipped. Both are complete and in pretty good shape, Joyride has some playwear and the cockpit sticker on Flywheels is badly faded.

Also I know alt modes aren't a popular method of display, but dammit, I'm gonna get me some mileage out of them.
