    Apologies.

    :)

I saw someone post ToyWorld Constructor. Hmm...

    I don't really know my 3P Devastators.

    I only know Hercules.

    :)

Shame to put Fort Max in the back - he's a much cooler and classier piece than that goofy gangly Metroplex. I guess more people have the Metroplex than Fort Max though.

    But nice scale pics!

I't unwise for TW to release this stuff in Feb,when Chinese new year is coming.

damn I guess i'm a member of cracked elbows on both of the first two figures as well. Got them from BBTS. Is it even worth it to contact them right now or just wait until we see what Toyworld does?

Contact them now. The more customers who contact their respective retailers, the better the chances of them actually doing something about it. I have a feeling retailers leaning on them for a fix will carry more weight than us.

I can report that after checking yesterday on my Scavenger that it does NOT have cracked elbow syndrome. My first two figures were bought from TFS. Still waiting to see what I get on round 2.

Yeah, enough people seem to have Concrete and Shovel in-hand now. Where are the cool display pictures along with opinions about the figures? I also want to see some detailed combiner limbs pics too please.

Got a reply from BBTS, while they would refund my money for the issue I do like the figures and hope ToyWorld takes note and offered a more sturdy piece. Anyway here is the email

Thank you for sending in the additional information. After in-depth review, it does appear that the molding mark/fracture that you are viewing on your figure is going to remain consistent throughout the line. I know you mentioned that you display your figures with limited handling, so thank you for recognizing the importance of the fragility in the affected area to help alleviate complications moving forward. As this is a growing concern with the more figures that ship, we are hoping to see the manufacture address it appropriately in the future. Unfortunately, we are not able to offer any replacement pieces at this time that will not reflect the same markings as the one you have at home. I apologize for the inconvenience and hope that we are able to find a solution in the future for you.

So with this response from BBTS, clearly this going to be a major issue.

Has Toyworld ever sent replacement parts out before?

If not, I will likely cancel my order until this resolved. :(

I'm not sure if the need for replacement parts as ever arisen for them in the past. One thing about TFC whether you love them or hate them, they are quick to offer replacement or revised pieces for the figures when needed.

i've had issues with TW stuff, but nothing that i felt the need to report, that was as widespread as this. i had a goldbug that's roof fell apart at the pin, but i can fix it with glue(that pin doesn't need to move to function).
only issue i contacted bbts for was when astrotrain came with no paperwork. that took forever to resolve though. they were slow to send bbts a replacement to send me.

Got mine from BBTS, no cracks on Unearth, have yet to check Bulldzer. I can see how that crack could develop if you are turning the arm by the forearm and not the bicep to position it. The swivel joint between the shoulder and bicep is really snug.

If getting an instruction booklet was a pain that doesn't really bode well for getting remolded replacement pieces :(

Guys after reading the response bbts I suggest to plague fb contacts, forums and YouTubeland with the mail and asking people to not buy toyworld products until they are kicked from their cloud and realize they work for their customers

This is a great overall product/project, but yeah ....

I'm not sure where their holier-than-thou attitude is coming from, but I will not be purchasing anymore TW stuff after this; until proper reviews/months have past, so I can see all the shit that is wrong or bad about it.

Before you know, spending the money they want from us so badly.

I mean, how the hell can you be such a dak? "We're not offering replacement parts." Why didn't they tell us to just go Fu** off? Would have been easier.

At least XTB offers replacements. That's saying something.

This is across this industry now and really the hallmark of Chinese manufacturing and it is ridiculous. All of this would have been revealed in first article inspection. You could have taken parts for 10 off the line and been able to see what needed to be redone before doing a production run.

I have been inside bomb manufacturing plants before and you would not believe the steps taken to ensure these things do not happen and the funny part is that it actually saves time and money. That is why anything that is considered a critical system is mostly still manufactured here in the US. For anything of value, most US companies that do use Chinese manufacturing have a rep or group of people that oversee it for QC for this very reason. We are talking about toy parts run in a couple of batches, not millions of parts run continually. Just incredibly stupid. You do not save money doing this.

I knew a Chinese company that made solar panels that would not buy a certain machine in the overall process to cut down on waste because the labor cost was so low. They thought that until they broke about $70K worth of cells that filled up a trash can from human handling and then bought the machines.
