I'm in. I have yet to see a TR voyager mold I don't want. I could see a bunch of different options for repaint/retool - Lio Convoy, Victory Leo primarily, but all sorts of random options, too (Carnivac!!)
What third party figure? I don't remember any besides a trash-awful one made by some now-dead group quite a few years ago. Did another one come out?
I like it.....but how did Alpha Trion embed the essence of such an earthcreature into his being ? Afaik, AT never reached Earth....no ?
There's a non-transforming one that came out last year(ish). It has a cape and a beard like the cartoon version.
I am liking the incorporation of the alt mode in robot mode but all i'm wondering about is what the articulation and possibility of the Beast mode will be. I hope it more than what Thundertron had.
Although I LOVE G1 A3. Converting him into a beast sounds bad to me. Beast Wars was pretty cool, but animals have far more moving parts than cars and planes... In the past we have had very rigid and stiff beasts... I do see the trend of coloring a mold for a fan favorite only to be truly designed for the superior repaint... CW Motormaster comes to mind... Its nice to have old A3. My expectations are VERY low for a good Transformer figure...
Its is actually a unicorn horn, ive seen the pics of the alt modes and that horn is in the middle of the lions forehead.
I noticed that too and was like "Why is everyone talking about Lioconvoy repaints when A3 here isn't a lion?" EDIT: Heck, looking more closely at the pic, he almost has some kinda Griffin thing goin' on, except for that stupid horn.
His lion alt mode is based on the Botcon exclusive figure but they've added a horn for some reason and his 2nd alt mode is a space cruiser like he had in his other botcon exclusive.
Judging by the teeth that are visible, we're only seeing the upper jaws; the lower jaws must be folded away somewhere. That's making the snout look longer and thinner and is why you guys are getting the wolf vibe.
