Oh sweet, so the season is going to start with Overload as the main baddie, not even Steeljaw was introduced at the beginning of the series. Though speaking of Steeljaw, is he going to eventually appear in Season 2, so far I've heard nothing about him.

 

I hope so. I mean I assume that Hasbro wouldn't just leave his fate unknown right?

 

They made Starscream's fate unknown. Then again, some people claim that Steve Blum said that Starscream was killed, but really the only sources of that I know of are a few Tumblr blogs and a thread on this site.

 

In the RID comic Predaking had Starscream's arm with him....make that of what you will.

 

Was just about to mention this. If he doesn't show up in season 2, I'm assuming Predaking killed him.

On the topic of that RID comic though, think Predaking will show up? He is still on Earth according to that final issue...

 

I'm thinking (more like desperately hoping) that Steeljaw will have a role in the premiere but they haven't shown him in advertisements because they'd rather give the limited ad time to new characters. Especially since it seems like Fracture will be around for Overload's debut, going by the shorts anyway, and he hasn't been shown in any ad materials either. Steeljaw would be a pretty likely candidate for the reason he's free....

......I just really love Steeljaw.

With the release of the new "Power Surge" Optimus. My best guess is that we will be seeing "Power Surge" Optimus very soon.

Yeah, that'd be a good guess. Seriously though, how many different forms is Optimus gonna get before this series is over? I mean aside from Bumblebee, Sideswipe and Strongarm's Clash forms, Optimus is probably gonna end up having like the most forms out of anyone. Can't he just keep one form for more than two episodes?

Well, I may be wrong, because the image that shows us Power Surge Optimus Prime, also has the caption, "TV Special Event-Fall 2016".

 

Oh. But it looks like there's a mini-con combining with Optimus to form Power Surge Optimus Prime. Does that mean according to the shot of Bumblebee on the right we'll get other Power Surge characters?
