If you like how it looks in photos you wont be disappointed, it's easily one of the most solid and fun to transform toys I've ever handled.

 

That first pic makes him look like he skipped leg day. If they were a bit bigger it would help his overall proportions massively.

From the front he doesn't look as bad as I originally thought, but from a diagonal perspective, that chest looks horrible. But still, pre-ordered and looking forward to him.

 

I like what Takara is trying to do with the new Springer, he's a good stand in, but the need for a new MP Springer in that picture stands out more and more. I know the forum would explode if he was made before guys like Blitzwing and Astrotrain, but I'm totally down with Springer being the first official MP Triple Changer.

Has anyone confirmed or found pics of where the heck is hands go in vehicle mode ? The only pics I see of him showing his undercarriage

They fold inside his forearms.

 

Also I totally agree the windshield glass should be clear that's fine but his goggles should be darker blue just looks better that way

Looks great, but the windshield and goggles look like they're not tinted blue at all. Are there any in-hand pics where it looks bluer?

 

I really like the recent pictures of this guy. I was gonna pass on him. I will just use this one as Hotrod. Which I think he is executed very well. And keep Mp 09 as my Rodimus Prime. I just hope the do a true Rodimus V2.

 

So it occurred to me this weekend that about 95% of my early exposure to Transformers and the seeds of my fandom come from the Movie. That also made me realize that the Movie crew are easily my most wanted figures (even though I never got MP-09).

Seeing all these new shots have me really excited for this new Hot Rod. I've had him on order since minute one basically, but I'm really loving how he looks across the board. My only nit pick currently is that I do wish his visor was a darker blue, even if I never intend on displaying him with it. I also just hope his backpack is rock solid so breakage is rare.

I really do like his sculpt and the range of motion he has seems more or less unmatched in the line. I'm super excited for him to be out.

 

TT will definitely do a true MP Rodimus Prime. These pics have got me thinking if they've come up with something that interacts with a new MP RP.

 

No from what I saw it was just a comparison between mp28 and mp09
09 had bluer glass all around

Looks like the company saves money by making this glass plastic from the same mold parts I would assume so whatever the windshield is the googled also are
All In hand pics I've seen are relatively clear looking

 

That'd probably be the one thing I'd like changed about it too. I really like the dark blue windscreen Hot Rod is recognisable for on the G1 toy and MP-9.

In the movie it's clear/opaque so that's the reason.
