Looks weird when a fighter jet can fit inside a shovel of a construction vehicle or the barrel of a cement mixer.

Any chance one of you fine readers could post a close up pic of this tab for me as reference for my repair? I have it tentatively on, but now I am rubbing on that bar thats close by. Ugh

yeah a bit. Thanks friend! I think ill need to experiment with tab reattachment so it doesnt catch on that bar when i bend the shovel around. If this is a common issue, I wonder if someone at shapeways could 3d print a pair of C clamp type things to lock the shovel against the arms or something...

well i think ive got it oriented right and the snapped off edges seem to match the rest of the leg. clearance on the bar seemed good on my couple tests holding in place with my thumb as best I could(suffice to say, i dont have tiny fingers). First coat of superglue in place on the crack, dried to the point it would hold and reinforced with more glue. Let it set and dry overnight and see if i can dab some into the crack on the underside with a toothpick. too much and it loses that edge that will slot in.

Hey guys, was just setting up my UW Devy for my MP display and wanted to know from you G1 cartoon buffs, what exactly is the proper cartoon-accurate display choice for the treads, inner and outer (I have the CW version as well so can mix and match)?

Cartoon = both purple in combined mode. One green, one purple in bot mode.

Toy = one purple, one green.

(In both G1 cartoon and toy, no disparity between inner and outer tread color, but UW did it that way to compromise between the toon's combined and individual modes... a controversial choice among some lol.)

I want to get that perfect effect cab but I want wheels in the fenders of it in foot mode. That would truly be perfect.

That's true... If you have the Hasbro devy, I'd sugges the reprolabels as well even if you only use the tire/rim decals only... It makes such a difference and completes the look

One last thing I forgot to mention for the prefect effects kit is the purple articulated hands... Great for possibility and there not black lol

I wish Hasbro gave Scrapper elbows but noooooo! He doesn't deserve elbows 'cause of "stability issues". Pfft, tell that to Takara's Scrapper..

Scrapper, my favorite of the group:

I'm still debating what, if any, add-ons to get for my Hasbro Devastator. Never got into add-ons in the past with the exception of some accessories for Alternators.

The only things I really dislike are the wheels and Mixmaster's back/cab/left foot. Might consider some purple hands too. Can I fix any of these things individually, or would these add-ons be part of larger sets?

    There are three releases:

The Takara release has weapons for each member of the team, added articulation (elbows) for some of the individual figures, and some different colors on parts. This is all differs from both of Hasbro's releases.

Hasbro's SDCC version has some purple chromed parts like Devastator's chest shield and the mixer drum on Mixmaster.

Hasbro's retail version doesn't have any of the above extras, but is still a quality figure and looks great.
