Rodimus Prime?! This thing is getting my hopes up. Crossing fingers its set in the g1 tv series universe. The comic was....not all I hoped for? I mean the toys ARE still going.

 

Its taking ages, it better be one hell of a series

 

I can't wait to see this. I had no idea it would be so short, that's probably going to leave me wanting more if it's good. If the shows cast is definitely made up of Combiner Wars figures and it does get released a while after the toy line has been available at retail at least that's a good sign it won't be as heavy on the "sell the toys" aspect.

 

I don't see any 3rd party "Transformers" in either shoot.

 

How does ittake nearly a year to write a script? What's the holdup?

 

I see KFC Citizen Stack and Dai Stack, the Impossible Toys Quintesson figures, several versions of iGear Faith Leader, and iGear's Thundercracker. I'm pretty sure that clear(?) purple MP Seeker in the bottom right corner is an iGear Seeker as well.

I'm not mad about the 3rd Party figures, I don't really care and actually find it kind of amusing. What does bother me is how disorganized that display is.

aybe? But they keep calling it a "series" and its possible things changed. I guess either way 70 mins or a mini series/show, I'm definitely psyched .

My guess for why it's taking so long is that they might have originally planned for it to be a 70 minute long thing initially but changed their minds and decided to make it bigger in scale.

 

Yeahh see this is where I'm going to have to hit the buzzer.. This has been becoming a serious Achilles' heel for this franchise lately. Timing of media and product releases are not exactly crossing up very well on anything not in a theater. Really, does it even need to be that way? The 'toons aren't even done by the same studio that does the movies.

How is it that guys fault that hasbro didnt release quints?? 3p baby, get used to it!! And i would think it'll be a mini series and i think that non white people will get a chance to watch it too   It wont be on cable but on machinama, which is a channel on the internet (you'll figure it out) I cant wait for the butthurt from g1 purists who will shit the bed when it aint accurate to the original material. Me, i cant wait for this!

 

Bummer, but at least i'll be able to watch it on my pc assuming the Ayatholas think it's appropriate content. Since the embargo has been lifted anything is possible, i might even figure out these internets

Doesn't it take longer to film/make the cartoons than write them? I mean, how hard is it to write bash this Decepticon, bast that Decepticon. Compared to writing the CGI program or drawing/painting.

 

It's probably got a fixed amount of episode.

I have a feeling they'll shill the new toys of this and next year in this.

 

People keep saying this stuff is late, but here's something that blew my mind.

More stuff in that series, if the implications of working with Machinima are at all accurate to what i'm guessing, means more potential content in Transformers Devastation. Especially because of how the game ends.

That's no minor collection either. The clear verison of Faith Leader was limited to 40 pieces and the gold verison was limited to 50 pieces, available in 2010. So whoever made that collection was collecting third party a long time.

 

Which makes me happy knowing that they'll take the story seriously. I'm really excited for this knowing that (i hope) fans are responsible for the story.

 

Anyone know if they're going to be using 2D or 3D Animation?
