I did open him last night and he is broken. :rolleyes2

The more I thought about it, the more I thought it would be better to know now if there were any issues that 3A would need to be contacted for.

It's easy fix with a bit of epoxy, but that's 2 for 2 now. BB's spacebridge pilar came broken as well (haven't bothered to fix that yet, but maybe I will since I'll have the epoxy out). Also there was a piece floating lose in BB's box. I have yet to determine what it broke off from. I'm starting to wonder if it broke off someone else's and just ended up in my box.

    Well that sucks.
I check my Bee yesterday and noticed there's a piece missing too.
This is far too common and has me worried about Prime.

Sorry to hear about your figures being broken and/or missing pieces. I'll have to check over my Megatron more carefully to see if anything's broken or missing but that that doesn't seem to be the case. The right shoulder joint being a little loosey-goosey appears to be the only issue for me. Hopefully 3A will be able to make it right by sending in replacement parts for you guys. I'd get in touch with them (or decemberist) to see what can be done.

I just glued it. With the epoxy it might actually be more sturdy now than it was to begin with.

3A would have to replace the entire figure. The shoulder fin/spike was broken off and the tab was inside the body. The question is would the replacement have had some sort of breakage as well?

Easy fix. Didn't seem worth bugging them with it. The big question of course will be does Optimus come with something broken as well? Hope not.

That doesn't look like the 3A hood.

    Either way, very nice!

That picture is far and away the best I have seen this figure look and a huge part of that is the hood I think.

Sucks to hear about broken parts. I've got Prime ordered and I hope there are no problems.

Can't believe I'm saying this, but I'd pay for a hood like that.
    It looks much better.
Mind sharing what kind of materials were used?

The hood has to be the dumbest exclusive that they could have packaged with this guy. I can just make my own, but at the end they wised up and put awesome accessories with the exclusive like Prime's gun and the saw blade for Starscream

I would have much prefered if they all came with goofy fun exclusives like BB's space bridge pilar.

Megatron's hood was essential (except you're right, it is easier to make than most of these accessories and Ionlyeatenergon has manged to do it possibly better than they did), Prime's gun and Starscream's saw are both also pretty great. I'm still frustrated I'm not getting the saw- but I don't want to be locked in. I didn't want to be locked in with Megatron either.

Looks pretty good! I'll have to try that with the frayed canvas cloak that came with my other custom Leader DOTM Megatron. I can appreciate 3A trying to make their cloak more poseable by including two bendable wires embedded in the cloth, but for closer accuracy, they could have chosen a better material for the fabric and perhaps given it more of a distressed look with paint applications or something.

    Awesome.
They should really send you these prior to pre-orders.
    Beautiful pictures!

That looks incredible! I have Bumblebee already, and Megatron is on the way from bbts, as well as Prime & Starscream pre ordered. (Megatron is still not.shown up yet but he is in my pre orders)

I'm a little concerned I will pay the $820 for Bee & Megatron, but then when it comes to Prime, even know I have a pre order in and got it in almost immediately, that I will get a email saying due to allocation of low stock blah blah blah we cannot process your order. Does anyone know if Bigbadtoystore doesn't always fill all their preorders for their 3A products, like the do bandai sometimes? I did that with a Bandai line and when it came to getting the main figure in the set, BAM wasn't able to.

Bummer about the "crouched position only" & the "no bicep swivel". I hope its only because he has two sets of wheels in each upper arm, and Optimus will still have bicep swivels and all the correct articulation a high end figure should have. Especially since these have waay over the normal amount of points of articulation, supposedly.

Mine is coming in today and while i LOVE it. I think that it's a little small. Compared to their Bumblebee, Bee should come up to about his crotch area. I think he scales nicely in general, but if they're going for accuracy, he should be bigger. I have the same problem with Optimus though. It doesn't take much away from how incredible this looks and these pictures make me super giddy about mine coming in. It's just as someone that has the Prime 1 Studio statues, i feel that Bumblebee scales perfectly with those guys. So that is where i have Bee displayed in my collection. I'm kinda trying to figure out where to put this version of Megatron though. I wonder how he looks with just the regular Hasbro figures....hmmmmm

I wish they would make Shockwave, Galvatron and possibly The Fallen because all their movie designs in my opinion are outstanding. Plus neither of them transformed so this would work perfectly for them.

    This beast is absolutely beautiful.

If I had the money, I'd pick one up. Simply because this is one of my favorite movie Megatron appearances.

I asked them directly and they only have the license currently to do DOTM characters. So Shockwave is a possibility, but right now, Galvatron and The Fallen are not.
