Thanks all for giving me the skinny on Rome - i'll keep my rape alarm handy and get a money belt like Will from the Inbetweeners! haha!

In other matters, a really bizarre end to Friday - as some of you might be aware I was promoted to Creative Director where I work, and from the work i've done already I have managed to win and be put in charge of a £350,000 rebrand project for a client - which also goes nicely with the £200,000 project I secured for the company earlier on in the week.

I thought they were having me on. But seeing as I am the whole creative department now, it's quite overwhelming - but exciting!

...it's a good job I get a commission percentage of every creative project I bring in ;)

    MOAR TFS!

Not just there, there was one of each in the Crayford Sainsburys last week when I was there, it went down to just a Scattershot afterwards though...

    Sorry to hear that.

I still remember the time she told me off for using the dog to mop my brow.

I'm only 15 min walk from it myself and a Scattershot was in there on Friday, I did post it in the sightings thread when I saw them though :)

Kapow has put MP Ironhide as out of stock and general stock available around 1-3 Feb, anyone get a feeling they have it in stock and could be sneakely posting them out? The Chosen Prime has it in stock and kapow normally gets their MP's in pretty quick.

    I'm probably wrong though :lol

So, at least one good thing happened today.

Were they on the bottom shelf with all the other toys? I've not seen a Voyager there since the days of Beast Hunters...

Also, does that mean you're the other chap in Crayford on Morg's FB BST group? :p

Buzzing, then. Alt mode is probably its weakest point, but nice transformation, sturdy build and terrific bot mode. The targetmaster is take it or leave it, much like Andros and Carry. Not quite the premium finish of a Fanstoys bot but feels rock solid. Hastak like, actually.

I think Buzzing may be my favourite-looking robot. My eyes are just constantly drawn to him. Cracking piece of work, though I do agree about the alt mode. The exposed hands were a big shock.

Sorry, I am off-topic again, one of the side-effects of my trawling theory, is you can pick up lot of bits in quick succession, then only later it becomes evident there may have been a tad of repetition, my stuff is all used and second hand but if anyone has hands/feet/heads I may be persuaded to lose some doubles, I am not put off by reissues or other company bits, as long as they look the part, is that Transrepro any good? Oh, I cannot find the Hasbro etc markings on the Menasor cars, are they KOs?
    Thanks all.

It may be worth looking into 3d printed parts for the hands/feet & other bits - I don't know what's out there? *Shines the Glaug light at a passing cloud*

The Alt has been compromised to get that stupid cockpit for the Targetmaster. Personally I could have done without that to have kept Blurr's more traditional profile. But......gimmicks.

But everything else about Him is astonishingly good. Quality wise the best thing Unique have ever done and one of those growing list of examples where you get to say "I really don't know how Hastak would top it," and mean it.

For somebody sliding out of MP collecting as I've been since the summer there has been a pretty amazing string of things to keep my hand in of late. Sphinx, Tyrant, Gundog, Sunsurge and now this guy.

Blurr is done. My list of what I "need" is down to: Jazz, Trailbreaker, Gears and Cliffjumper.

What I "want" is down to: Springer,Cyclonus, Arcee, Shitpiece and Sandstorm.

It's entirely possible I can be done within two years. Scary.

    All the time ;)

And of course by done I mean still buying every character over again in Legends class by IF............which is where my fire is going to be trained for a good while I can see.

I'm also going to make it my mission to go into every MP/Faux MP thread and declare it "nice, but should be down scaled to Legends...." :D

Please do. It'll go down so well!

I'm not sure I'll ever be done. Not through a sense of completion anyway.

@ Jame5y - my wife and I just got back from Rome on Thursday. Great place, yes there's pickpockets etc but if you're sensible you're fine (I kept valuables on an inside pocket = winning).

    Tips:

    - Vatican kills almost an entire day, even if you're not religious it's really interesting
    - Colosseum, Palatine and Forum can be visited on a single ticket. Palatine and Forum count as one site though so you've got to visit them both at once.
    - Lots of good eats. We went on a tour with a company called Eating Italy who took us to a bunch of restaurants around Trastavere - well worth it, a bit pricey but great fun. Totally recommend the restaurant L'Asino D'Oro (the Golden Donkey!) which is down between the Trevi Fountain and the Colosseum.
    - Walk as much as you can. The metro is great but you get a lovely feel for the city just by wandering around the streets.
    - Eat lots of gelato.

Hope that's helpful, drop me a line if you want any other thoughts...
