It's actually not terribly expensive... not that it's cheap. But I've got friends with slightly above average income that spend at least as much as me on golf, or guns, video gaming (compys are expensive) or well a lot of stuff.

Hell a membership to a country club (yes I know you don't have to join one, just saying) will cost you more than my whole collection, and shiz I got a pretty good collection!

Hell a buddy of mine has a single watch that's worth more than my whole collection.

Hobbies in general tend to be expensive!

Eh, this hobby is as expensive as you want to make it. I had a $12k year one year. Last year I was less then $1k, since I didn't get too many third party.

The third party part of collecting is expensive.

    That's all I'm waiting for.

As soon as I see it confirmed with the new head, this will be my first Fanstoys figure. :)

I hope this isn't a scrapped project. I'd like this to drop now like everyone else but let's hope they are tweaking the mold so that we don't get any unwanted QC surprises like some are reporting with Spotter.

I always want companies to take the extra time needed to take care of any QC issues before release. Which reminds me of the photos of the factory that did the quakewave reissue... They took hammers to the initial batch due to issues... Sad but necessary.

Maybe the QC team is currently sitting on TF's Willy, so it won't be all floppy when it gets to us.

Isn't Willis one of the figures Dalianjj said would drop April-ish? He said Spotter and Mercenary in January, and Stomp, Forager and Willis sometime around April.

I want to know what's up with SeverX. He was supposed to be out in January and we haven't heard anything since.

I would assume it will drop without much in the way of announcement or fanfare. That said, with Chinese New Year looming, I suspect it could get pushed back at this point.

What's the word on their version of MP Skyfire, Cyclonus, and Scourge?

Are FTs known for dropping stuff without any hype? They really should correct that, we need them to stay in business for a long as possible ;) .

All we know about any of them are from silhouettes that appeared with other figures. Skyfire hasn't been seen in a long while so it's anyone's guess if it's still on. Cyclonus and Scourge were teased more recently with Sovereign, but other than that no additional information is available.

Sorry, missed this. Maybe I've missed the hype, but usually the varient figures like Scoria X and clear Quakewave are announced and shown and then the next we hear about them they are in the hands of retailers.

Not to be disrespectful in any way. I'm just not in the know. Why does the CNY affect releases?

It's a big national holiday that goes for a long period of time. Factories, companies etc shut down for a well earned break.

Gotcha! LOL I am an art teacher in Texas. I get a lot of anime, Transformers, Star Wars, Zelda fans in my classes. In fact anything that ends in (con), comicon etc....I get a lot of that. Had students one year ask me to sponsor the Asian student union. They knew I was into TF. They were all American born and white (per definition). I declined explaining that it is actually reserved for actual Asian students. I showed a picture last year to a student of my MP line up.....she named them all...even knew Smokescreen and Red Alert. How cool is that?
