That's exactly what I was expecting it'd be like

Two sides of the leg form the platform at the front

One is the gap between the platform and the back wall which is formed from the remaining leg side.

Now you've got him in hand can you measure the size of the ramp and it's connector at the end (I'm assuming each section is 1/4 of the total width) and the size (width and diameter) of the Titanmaster footpegs?

Looks like that is my new MP Blaster :)  It's the same height as the 3rd party Blaster by KFC.

Yeah, good to see some scale pics... he looks like he'll be just about perfect for an MP display. :thumb

Yeah, the legs are hollow, but he hides it well. That's all I ask. This is a great looking figure; can't wait to see it in-hand in color.

I'm definitely getting this for my Classics collection, but knowing he could serve as a temp MP makes him cooler. I'll not be needing a Soundwave though since I have my MP already. But this and PM Prime definitely.

I got one of the Titan Blaster protos. He's a bit chunky, but very articulated, including sweet ankle tilts and the helmet rotates really well. The Headmaster gimmick is pretty good, no complaints. The head's connection point is pretty loose, so it relies a lot on the helmet to keep it in place, which works fine.

The Headmaster is tiny, smaller than Generations Brainstorm's Headmaster. Blaster and Brainstorm are not compatible--I tried. Not compatible with G1 Headmasters either.

Blaster's mask actually looks really sweet in translucent plastic (vs the 100% painted hard copy proto we've seen). I am guessing the final version will have partially painted translucent plastic, with the visor part mostly unpainted, and will look really good as well. It's the same helmet we saw on the hard copy proto--any perceived differences in the test shot pictures were just weird lighting.

Base mode feels small compared to Micromaster bases from G1. I can see it looking cooler when a lot of the Titan bases are attached together, or when they all hook up to Fort Max (assuming that's possible).

Ramps have two attachment points on Blaster's back (seems random), and the proto comes assembled with them attached there. I've tried to dislodge them and can't without fear of snapping something, so I think they're staying there rather than going on the legs where they belong.

Stereo mode is fine. The default "cassette" doesn't do much.. it just has a place where the Headmaster can sit in it for when it attaches in base mode. Not sure what you're supposed to do with it when a different cassette is inside... maybe plug it into the handle on his back? The "cassettes" are big compared to Blaster's chest and go in at a 45 degree angle in order to fit, and it gives him a big bump-out in his back right above his hips.

Gun is loose in the connection points in base mode. Fits okay in his hands. I'd say "hopefully they'll fix this before going into production", but then I remember the FOC Wreckers, and I'm not getting my hopes up...

Overall, really cool toy. I'm excited for this line. It's great to see a toy that has several gimmicks going on with it (Headmaster, cassette storage, Base mode) and pulls everything off well.

I'm more excited about Hardhead, Skullcruncher and Galvy, but I might buy Billy - I mean Blaster.

Darn, an entire line of Headmasters just makes it impossible for me NOT to make Omni Productions references. EEEEEEAAAAAAAUUUUGH.

I highly recommend Blaster. I'm really really impressed that they nailed one of the first Titan Wars toys. I feel none of the frustration that I felt when I bought CW Superion and Menasor. Everything is awesome with this toy. I'll try to find time to post some pictures tomorrow so you guys can marvel at his ankle tilts :p

MG - Is the head on yours hard to get into the helmet in robot mode. I transformed mine and now I can't get the hemet to fit over the head. It looms like the part on the lega hits the chest and I cant figure out what I did.

Yeah that part is a little tricky. What I do is bend the head's knees 90 degrees forward first, then after that bend the hips into position. Then insert the head and it should fit correctly.

Did yours come with the ramps attached to his back? I'm afraid to apply too much pressure to take them off on mine...

Edit--Nevermind.. got it off. You just have to pull it off at an angle.

i was trying not to get these titanmasters to start fillling up my wreckers, but those images converted me......
his base mode looks like a stage for concerts or a wrestling event....

"tonight on *TMW, twincast takes on grax for the united worlds championship, in a NO DQ MATCH!!!"

I don't suppose it could be fit into a Headmaster Junior body? I'd really like to eventually use the Crashbash head on a headless Squeezeplay.

If the final product or Takara version has a more G1 toon like head, or a 3P solution is affordable, this will be my Blaster. I might just get it anyway because it looks super fun and is Leader Class at least. I could always paint the eyes or something.

    Looks super fun.
