How about a limited edition Shattered Glass version that's colored like Firecon Guzzle?

I just scanned back in the forums and realized the alt is indeed playing by the art's rules... at least it's not the toy's fault.

Thus far, I've been happy just saying Heavy Tread is Jungle Assault Guzzle, but why not, I'll get this guy if it's not too crazy.

I think he's looking good so far. Can't wait to see more progress on the prototype. I do have some of the same reservations that many of the other posters do, but most of them aren't the fault of toy's design - the simple design and transformation of the alt mode.

I'm not a fan of the "I just lay down and now I'm a vehicle" mode of transformation, but (as stated) that's how this character was designed in LSOTW and I glad the designer is staying true to the look of the book. Perhaps another company will give us Guzzle in his new "Sins" look, or armor that can snap on this fig, and we can have the best of both worlds. And I am a fan of my Bluster and Trench figures, who specialize in the "lay down" transformation, so I guess I'm a bit of a hypocrite and will be quite happy with this little dude. Do his arms and legs peg or lock into place when in vehicle mode? It would help to offset his simple transformation if he held together well.

Also not a fan of the hands. They seem pretty small to have such large holes in them (assuming they are 5mm?). Is it too late in the design process to give him some open hands similar to Gauntlet?

Regardless of alt modes, hands, or anything else he looks great in robot mode and if he's a high quality figure he will make an awesome (and much needed) addition to my Wreckers shelf.

I guess you have to read the comics to appreciate this pile of hot garbage.

Website is still down and the only thing I can find on Facebook is Killingers Customs which hasn't been updated since January. I've sent an e-mail to find out what the latest is, and will let you all know if I hear anything.

That was nice and simple, as it appears their e-mail has been taken down as well. Looks like this company is officially dead and those of us who placed pre-orders have lost our money.

What can we do about trying to get it back from this point?

Right, Dr. Killinger hasn't posted here since February and his PM box is full. I've posted a visitor message, but I think the outlook is grim indeed.

I paid in January. Isn't the limit for refunds 45 days?

So I'm gonna share this as it's pertinent, but I'd ask people to respect what's being said below and take it in the spirit it's being given.

I emailed Dr K a few days ago on the GCI email and got a response pretty quickly. M31, who was the production part of the team (DR K was paint it and ship) is having a really bad time at the moment. He has a new born who at the last update was in intensive care, and as a father myself I can only begin to imagine what he is going through.

There was no mention of the guild being abandoned, but he couldn't tell when they would be able to start production again.

Now, if you've paid for some of thier own custom stuff it's down to you if you think it's worth hanging on or not. Personally I'm going on faith and I'm willing to give the benefit of doubt.

Anything they are selling just as the retailer I'd at least give a few days for the server and then try getting in touch before making any snap judgement.

My thoughts and hopes are with M31 and his family.

People sure do love jumping to conclusions after 30 minutes.

They also apparently aren't good at Google, because the GCI Facebook page where Krillinger posts is there still and has been active with posts.
