Yay, for Beast Wars fans, but I'm kind of hoping for some non-Beast Wars guests (yes, I know that it's Beast Wars' 20th anniversary).

 

Does this mean TFCC will be racing to repaint their Predacus Tarantulas figure into Blackarachnia?  

 

I had a feeling they'd get Venus to replace Alec what with the Predacon theme when it comes to their BW guests.

And thanks to a certain purchase I made at last Botcon I'm all set with something for her to sign!  

If they give Predacus Tarantulas a new head and a TM2 Blackarachnia color scheme I would be ecstatic.

I thought she quit conventions because Fanboys kept harassing her...

Cool! Still a little bummed about Alec Willows but this is nice.

 

Man, that's sad. I mean, yes, she is totally gorgeous, but come on, we love her for her work! Shame on the supposed 'fans' who would make her feel uncomfortable.

Shame I am on the wrong side of the Atlantic, I'd love to say hi at BotCon. Maybe we'll get lucky and Venus will come to a UK con.

 

If I were able to go to Botcon, I'd bring my sealed Legends Blackarachnia and the SH Figuarts female Ranma that's coming out this month to sign.

Venus is great and very down to Earth. I met her back in 2014 at TFcon in Chicago.

 

I have the sudden urge to buy a Legends Blackarachnia now.

years ago when my son and I went to botcon (he was 8 at the time) we were waiting on the long ass autograph line, and Venus overheard my son saying he was thirsty, she called him over propped him up on her lap and gave him a glass of water, he sat on her lap until we got our autographs and she loved talking to him. she was very kind to my son and they hit it off pretty good. he must have been on her lap for about 15 to 20 minutes, just chatting away and drinking all her water. after we got out autographs she gave him a huge hug and said goodbye to him. as we were walking away we heard all kind of heckles from basement dwelling fantarts about how my kid was lucky and how she could sit on their lap any day of the week

 

yes it's cool they got Blackarachnia to take Tarantulas's place.

also Venus is truly hot, posionous and deadly.
