Pardon my lurking, out of curiosity for those of you whom got the boxes with the figures. What was the total weight of the package?

 

I highly recommend getting the set from Tony (chimungmung Toy Shop)
He always dispatches items quickly and shipping time (to Europe) has usually been 7 to 10 days.
Tony is always helpful and responds to emails fast, too.

 

So, do you lose out on any parts or anything for Predaking if you only get the five of them instead of all 6?

 

What? The upgrade set will have the adjustable mane on Razorclaw? Bah, might have to get it if it does come with an articulated mane replacement.

 

Judging by the pics in the first post if you skip on either Tantrum or Felisabre you miss out on half the combined sword. Not sure about Talon though. So I would go 6/6 if you want all the combiner parts.

 

Where might i find this information. I am just starting to check this guy out, and hoping to get one for the sheer size. And intrigued to see what upgrade kits are happening.

 

Few pages back. I can't remember if upgraded mane was mentioned or not. At the very least new heads for Bovis, Fortis and Leo

Yes. Felisaber has half of the main blade of the sword and the blade hilt piece that holds the sword together, and each of the other ones have parts for the sword as well.

Just so you know, Ordin isn't as bulky as this set, but he's about the same height. He's kind of a beast on his own. He also has some stability issues like the original Feral Rex, which would be a nightmare upscaled.

Mine showed up today. In the midst of opening it now and doing inventory. I did get the back of the cat mask head. Funny this is, this package never showed up in the EMS tracking system. I kept checking Ebay, but the number never worked. I started getting a little worried but the seller, smartlulu came through. Time for the fun to begin.

 

That feeling you get when you get home and the package is waiting for you to open.

Ordin isn't anywhere near 19", he's more along the lines of Warbotron combiners height.

I think he meant the original Feral Rex was about the same size as Ordin but bulkier and that helped with his stability. He thinks that oversizing Ordin will exacerbate his instability.

I agree with you completely about oversizing Ordin and I think he should be followed by Warbotron Bruticus and Computron as well as Gravity Builder when complete. We may have to stay with CW/UW Devastator. Maketoys Guardia may be the right Defensor. We need a more G1esque and higher quality Menasor but may be stuck with the FP one. Now that Wei Jiang is completing the Throttlebots that is also covered. I am hoping to mod my TFC Uranos like yours. You did such an amazing job on all of your figures.

I just received the OS Feral Rex and it is breathtaking. I have had cheap knock offs in the past with bad quality but Wei Jiang, Jin Bao, and hopefully Ku Bian Bao with the Seekers are changing that perception. It cost me $20 extra shipping but I got the boxes. They are huge and ensure the figures are protected. Everything is so professional. I did the same with Uranos even though I got an extra Slingshot and Air Raid loose for modding.

There are some links earlier in the thread. He ends up about half a head shorter.

 

Anyone know if all the kibble is supposed to have a place to go on the beast modes? I figured out most of it, but still need homes for the am cannon, the big sword blades, and the two gray parts that the rest of the sword pieces attach to.
