    happy new year everyone.

    not to be a downer but, this is always the most depressing time of year for me. i LOVE the christmas/holiday season, so, the new year just signifies that the holiday season is over. christmas lights come down, trees get thrown out, decorations go back into storage, no more christmas movies on tv, no more holiday music.. and it means there's another 12 months for it to come around again.

    i just hate the sense of "it's over". it's always a little sad.
