    It's time to ROCK OUT with your COCK OUT. Literally.

    This is the first of the weekly TFW2005 Guitar Hero II challenges. What does it involve? Well, let me tell you.

    The Challenge
    Each week I will select a song, these will increase with difficulty each week, the challenge ends when we're out of difficulties and the winner is declared.

    Once the song is selected and posted, you have ONE WEEK to rack up the HIGHEST SCORE you can on HARD MODE.

    At the end of the week I will use the glory of XBox Live and check my friends list leaderboards, grab a screeny and post the results here.

    Simple eh?

    What you need to do to Participate
    Send a friends request to Twin Twi5t with the message "Rock out with your cock out" so I know you've seen this and are participating.

    After that, once the song is posted, play until your fingers bleed.

    Rules
    You must be playing on the HARD difficulty.

    Your previous scores will not be taken in to account as there is a "highest score this week" option I can check, so if you aced it before, and suck now, hahah tough and I laugh at you.

    That's it.

    So we'll start of real gentle, this week will be a warmup, the results are not counted toward your final tally. And the song? Hoho, yes the song...

    I would enjoy trying this but I can't play on hard at all. Its just beyond my grasp. I love this game but I'm stuck on medium trying to get better but I'm just not quick enough it seems.

    I stink at hard, but I have finished 9 songs but with no better the 3 stars. I think if you can get 4-5 stares on the last set in medium you can probable limp your way to the end of the early haed songs like me. :) 

    When do we start this? Today? Say today, I just got good-ish score.

    Possum Kingdom is a pretty good way to warm up, you have a week. I sucked balls at hard when it hit the 360, but now I'm on the last but one set :D 

    This way we can all be badass together :D

    Play on easy you should have no problem fishing all the songs with 5 stares and that’s good for two. Also you should have no trouble blowing past medium picking up that one. Teacher’s Pet is easy also. If you fail a song select practice and just do one section. Do that for 3 different songs and your done. For the Extra Credit one you don’t even have to be in the room, just start up the credits from the options screen and go get something to eat. Then I think the only other one I have that you don’t is the Van Halen and that one can be tricky. I think I only ever got 500 in a row the one time.

    I guess I'm in. Gamertag's Hubbcap3000.

    Has anyone here actually managed to get 100% on a hard song yet? I've gotten about 5 on easy but haven't managed a hard one yet.

    I haven't really played the game much, but since I play guitar I actually found the easy difficulty to be harder, because it can be wierd to simplify something when you think it should be played a different way.

    It is sort of weird hearing four or five notes and only having to hit the button once. I was trying to get 5 stars on medium Psychobilly Freakout yesterday and actual got a better score playing with the sound off. I still didn’t get 5 stares but I did a little better.

    I 5 starred all of easy and medium on practically my first try, and I 5 starred the first tier on hard ... but I can't go any further. Orange button, note placement, alternating notes and mass HO/POs FTL. :(

    Wish I had this for 360, I can do all the songs on hard (just not 5 star them).

    One of these days/weeks/years.

    How does this happen: I have been busting my hump trying to 5 star Psychobilly Freakout (medium) and just for the fun of it I turn on the Hyperspeed mode “cheat” for the fun of it and 5 star Psychobilly Freakout on the first play.

    Son of a bitch, I'm only up to the third set on Medium and it is quite a challenge...I guess I don't have what it takes to rock out with you guys :(
