Has anyone tried Reprolabel's new raised autobot logos? I like having both shoulders with logos and am wondering if those would work as good as the metal/plastic ones.

Great to read such good feedback about the figure, I'm looking forward to receiving mine. According to tracking mine was sent out of China and just left US customs which is cool, however I live in the UK so either I've been given the wrong tracking number or mine is on a 80 days around the world style trip.

Couldn't resist chucking in an order for one of these though. The mpp10, not the greetings card, will see how it turns out.

 

After hearing others praise him, and then seeing Ben's review, and how nice it looks... I gave in. Got me one of these on the way.

 

I hope to hear something about the trailer very soon (there's a PO at tf-direct but that's all).
It will be massive and eye catching on the shelf...

 

IMO: One of the BEST KOs Ive ever seen. It improves on the original. With lots of extra paint and stunning chrome, if you collect Primes, this is a must have...

Love the longer legs, too.

I can skip Spike but the die cast matrix is nice...

Anyone actually had any bad qc? One-off my wing mirrors is slightly squint but easily fixed just met doesn't lol

 

Have two of these ordered from Sirtoys. I plan on repainting one satin metallic g1, but I'm unsure what to do with the other. I was thinking either a Nemesis or a damaged version like Dark awakening. What do you guys think?

 

Mine has a broken fuel tank connector on the figure's left leg (see pics a few pages back). Looks like the assembler pushed the pin way too hard it bent the plastic.

Don't even know how to go about getting this fixed. Anyone have an email address for the manufacturer?

 

just got this today, surprised the post office delivered on a Sunday, this thing is huge. The quality is definitely there.

 

I encountered a problem last night. I only transformed it once to alt mode, and last night I decided to go back to bot mode. His right leg wouldn't extend at all. I ended up having to take it apart because the internal piece with the spring attached was jamming the leg. After I put it back together again, it did the same damn thing, so I took it back apart again and this time the spring popped out. Unfortunately I was sitting in a recliner while doing the surgery and the spring ended up falling into the chair. I wasn't able to recover the spring, but I did find 35 cents.

So I ended up reassembling it without the spring. Now the leg slides up and down without any problems, but it has nothing to hold it extended unless I bend it at the knee. Oddly enough though it's held while standing straight over night, but if I push just a bit it will collapse. I can live with it, but if I can find a spring to use I'll try fixing it again.

I also received mine today (from eBay seller Smartlulup2010), and quickly put in the metal Autobot logo on his shoulder and everything looks really really nice.

Product was tightly packaged with a thin layer of bubble wrap around the entire product box, then wrapped in an outer layer of cardboard.

Minor denting on the corners (as another said above, to be expected when you're shipping one of something halfway around the world), but otherwise the product box was undamaged (and was in very good shape).

Speaking of the box, while the box art isn't the greatest, I do like the presentation: velcro'd flap that swings out to reveal a styrofoam interior with the product fairly securely packed inside (about the only thing kind of loose was the matrix, while everything else seemed to be nicely inserted or even taped in place).

Looking forward to finding a good deal on the trailer next. Still wondering if the Autobot symbol on the side of the trailer is the same size as MPP10's shoulder insignia, as I'm hoping they are so I can just get more replacements from my previous source. =) Edit: Actually, looking at the pics on tf-direct of the pre-order trailer, it looks like the Autobot logo is a bit larger. Grrrr.
