I love almost all of the figures of Cybertron. I think my favorite is Cybertron Defense Scattershot. It's always been a really fun-looking figure even if it's not really a good disguise. I made a point to buy most of the repaints.

From the Galaxy Force toyline, Prime himself. He's got one of the most badass super modes known to man.

oooo..this toyline was great....there were a few figures that suffered because of the gimmick but for the most part they did a good job of not making it such a big issue.

    my favorites are:
    optimus prime
    primus
    excellion
    crosswise/smokescreen
    sideways
    deluxe unicron
    armorhide
    vector prime
    brakedown
    soundwave
    menasor

Hardtop. Such a fun little figure.
    Optimus Prime, of course.
Ransack. Fun little figure with good articulation and lots of personality.

Cybertron is my favorite TF line! Sideways/Noise Maze is one of my favorite figures of all time, I can't believe so few are mentioning him. If you get one figure from this line, get him. Cybetron Megatron and Optimus are both far better figures than we've gotten in a long time (I deeply regret selling my Optimus and Windsaber). The three Cybetron Defense molds are all great, but all but Hot Shot have gotten better repaints (Count Down is the man). Ransack is probably my favorite basic figure. Dirt Boss is an excellent deluxe figure if you feel like either filing down some plastic or sticking some cellophane in him to get his head to sit flush. Galaxy Force Starscream (Again, the JP version) is a great figure aside from the limited articulation and really reminds you how silly of a decision it was for Hasbro to up-size the mold. Scourge/Flame Convoy is an imposing dragon figure who has aged a bit articulation-wise, though sadly my copy got broken in storage. And last, but not least, Galaxy Force Vector Prime (The Japanese version, not the ugly US repaint) is amazing and if you've bought the US version you are missing out on the beautiful pearl plastic and amazing painted and molded detail this guy offers and probably didn't realize you had such an awesome figure because of how shitty Hasbro made their version.

Galaxy Convoy and Galaxy Force Voyager Starscream.

    Landmine ~ simple yet elegant.

    Sideways

    Mudflap

Evac/Live Convoy ~ still pretty much the best Helicopter TF ever done.

    Excellion

and of course, the Cybertron Defense Force bots ~ those three were just off the chain awesome. (wish i'd gotten the Countdown repaint of Red Alert)

i didn't really care for the Giant Planet or Beast Planet figures ~ the Giants alt modes were too non-sensical and the Beasts were a little too rudimentary after being used to BW figures.

Cybertron Megatron is and will always be one of my favorite toys, even if his "third mode" is a phoned in joke.

Big badass space drag racer into GORGEOUS robot mode loaded with articulation and feels SO SOLID. Paired with Nemesis Breaker he looks just great.

I know some folks prefer the Galvatron version for its more unified color scheme, but I love the chaotic palette of the original version.

Scout class Armorhide looks pretty cool too, but I haven't gotten my hands on one yet.

I'm a little late to this party, but I read the thread, and DAMM Galaxy Force Vector Prime has a badass Cyber Planet Key. I'll have to see if I can find Safeguard in my bins.

I was there for all of Cybertron but I wasn't a completionist (I guess I was 10 after all.) So I don't have much more to add that hasn't been said. Optimus. Sideways. Frikkin' Primus! Metroplex. Yeah his altmode was doofy but what Metroplex altmode isn't? I own both Red Alerts and both Hotshots, but I never got CD Scattershot.

Oh! The scrapmetal! Cool little army builders, those.

Next year there's a Masterpiece Optimus Primal coming. When do we get Galaxy Convoy?

-Hardtop, Shortround (the little nerd he is) and Armorhide are fun Scout Class figures
-Cybertron Defense Hot Shot is a nice heavily armed Autobot
    -Brimstone isn't bad either
-Scourge was fun (I think I sold him getting ready for the move, most of my collection is now Generations)

    Evac and Downshift

Special mention for Thunderblast, but that's admittedly more for the character than the toy itself.

I love the Galaxy Force/Cybertron shows and toys. Re-visiting it however, Gary Chalk just doesn't do it for me as Optimus Prime. He will always be Primal tho. Just recently purchased A galaxy force Vector Prime, love his accurate color scheme. Sideways impressed me instantly when I got him. Also fond of Soundwave. Leader Galvatron is a sexy mofo too! I am a proud owner of a MISB C-00 Takara Primus! Love that G1 style box! I'm actually currently looking for a Galaxy force voyager GD-03 Starscream. I sold mine back in the day, and I want him back! He is listed for stupid money right now on ebay.

Yeah he's awesome as a whole to get a ask blog and be remolded into Alpha Trion. Scrapmetals are nice generics. We need more generic army builders that are fun, plentiful in fiction and merchandise, and cheap. As for Galaxy Convoy I would assume his original toy is already perfect in comparison to the likes of Optimus Prime and Primal original toys. So a reissue would be good enough if you think about it. So while I didn't grow up on Cybertron I can still say those guys get approval and beyond from me.

As for my favorites that I have are Excellion and GTS Ransack (I dub that redeco Gasket). I personally enjoy Excellion for his head sculpt and colors alone even if the design is bulky. The overall package for both him and GTS Ransack is golden in design and paint layout. Even if the short forearms are a problem for weapon holding and his grenade missile launcher isn't as cool as Ransacks seat gun. Mine has a speck of paint missing on his optics. Is that common since I've seen most pictures with that flaw.

Cybertron Scattershot, Crumplezone in either color, and Override GTS look good to me so I'll pick those up when given a chance. Thundercracker I like as well yet the poor quality, design, and shotgun arm turn me off since it could've done the same as Ransack in allowing the piece to separate from the body to make it a more symmetrical stable figure. Voyager Starscream on the other side of Seekers I adore for how great it works. I wonder why they didn't make more traditional G1 Seeker Redeco with that mold. I like the idea behind Thunderblast's altmode even if the design and method for transformation is lame in execution. Now if there was a generations release for her I'd hope that the boat pieces would be more compact. She's one of the few canon Deceptifemmes so why not.

@FeralStorm You're right Downshift is another great car yet I forgot him at the time. Love the car altmode and robot head especially. And I feel the same on Thunderblast from what little I have seen of her.

I don't remember getting many figures as most of the line didn't really "do it" for me, but I did collect at least one character from every planet purely for their Cyber Keys. Of all of them I really liked Dark Scorponok (although that's kind of cheating) and Dark Crumplezone; I could not resist getting Dark Crumplezone when I found out he existed.

I do wonder if I should've gotten Nemesis Breaker when I had the chance just because of his color scheme and general inavailability, but he looked like garbage then and he still looks like garbage now.
