better yet, Remold of Unicron/Primus with Wreck-Gar's head. Oooooor it's a Built to Rule version of Primus. Thus, planet of junk :p

All the platinum stuff they have been releasing has been all G1 so far so I don't see why this would be any different. It would be nice to get the RTS or Generations mold, but I don't think they will be.

Prime LC Ultra Magnus, Upcoming Dinobots, Bruticus v Grimlock, etc would beg to differ.

....And just when I started pairing down all my Wreck-gars/Junkheaps. Really gonna try to limit myself to 3 sets this time if it is the RTS mold.

It would be great to own a G1 Wreck-Gar, even if he is pretty doofy looking. With Henkei Wreck-Gar, I really have no need for another version of that mold, he's great. Junkyard and Scrapheap are equally great.

If they could fix all the potential breakage issues with RtS Wreck-Gar, it would be worth re-releasing the mold as him and Scrapheap. Maybe toss in a couple of repaints of deluxe CW Groove (though surely they wouldn't make the Hasbro debut of that mold exclusive to a $100 box set). I wouldn't mind some of the cycles being Decepticon-aligned either (imagine Menasor with an optional cycle limb). Plus possibly another repaint of Classics Rodimus in better colors than the RtS version (and with that remolded chest from the United figure). OTOH, Hasbro hasn't really re-used any Classics molds from the pre-Thrilling 30 era in a couple years so they might not now either.

I guess it could be G1 reissues also.

Yeah, this is what it probably is.

Four Junkion/Groove limbs w/some random torso redeco. Or just the limbs judging by the price.

You've got to be kidding me-Canadian dollars are different than US dollars. I did the math, and by that, I mean I put it in a CAD to USD converter and $149.99 CAD equals $109.28 USD.

    In that case:

    White OP as Ultra Magnus
    Wildrider as Hot Rod
    Alpha Bravo as Springer
    Groove as Wreck Gar
    Breakdown as Blurr

    ;)

I don't know why they kept justify that much of a mark-up if that's going to be the end result.

    I could see that happening.

Any of you boys recalled just how much did the Rage Over Cybertron pack retailed for?

If the SRP for that set is close to this Planet Of Junk pack, then we're really looking at just 3 figures only & not 4 or 5 as some of the boys pointed out previously.

Well, that price on Victorion is lame. Wasn't the MSRP originally $80?

EDIT: Oh, wait. This is Canada. Still pretty high...

I believe it was $40 US, can't remember the Canadian Price...maybe 50 or 60....either way TRU's prices are bullshit.

I think it is worth it for them for the few who purchase it right away. After all, that Blaster and Perceptor set did sell out with a very minimal change in price (to everyone's surpise). Also, the price of the G1 coneheads doesnt have any mark up at all in comparison to the insecticons, triple changers or Trypticon (based on what they cost in 86).

What i find nuts is that YOTG Soudnwave has neer been discounted once in canada and its markup is insane.

You sure on the prices for Rage Over Cybertron set? That is a TRU exclusive pack consisting of WFC Prime, Bumblebee & Megatron, 3 units of Deluxe Class figures.

I'm pretty sure the SRP would not be USD $40. (Even though I'm not from US)
