    they gave me the difference from regular price to lightning deals, another for the box that was dented, and when they lower the price down to $102, i chatted with cs and gave me $60+ back.

    I just got Amazon to refund me 61.23 thanks to this thread. Took the sting out of jumping on it the first chance I got.

    I bought a couple in deal lighting and cyber Monday and receive the difference plus taxes. It is a great deal for a piece like Trypticon, one of the best Transformers ever made.

    I didn't have luck getting any price adjustments on Trypticon but that probably has to do with the fact that I've been requesting that a lot lately and also exchanging/returning things a lot with Amazon due to their crappy packing practices. It's OK, though. I just went through the price protection policy on my credit card.

    Had been keeping an eye on this, hoping it would drop so I could get a second for MISB. After getting a credit on the original I bought, I pulled the trigger.

    I knew it would be a gamble to get a box worth keeping - but I lucked out and got one with some minimal wear. Now I can happily open the original (which had a box that was a bit beat up).

    Good job all around by Amazon on this exclusive - from my point of view at least!

    :) i finally got a box that wasn't smashed up, i had to do two returns
    (didn't want to go the damage discount route of calling C.S.)
    third's a charm. looks like no one sat on it this time.

    boy! amazon really packs these boxes light in terms of padding...
    one piece of brown paper!
