Honestly, I thought the bear getting up was sort of meant to be a "No animals were harmed in the making of this comic" scenario. It would be hard to get people to root for heroes that murder endangered species... although they did manage to do that for Megatron.

 

I don't think the DJD has much if anything to do with SOTW.

 

Spoke strongly of Generations WFC Bumblebee to me, right down to the spindly legs.

One thing I love about IDW comics, they know how to pack a lot of reading into a little space. I thought for sure that that scene of Arcee looming over Verity would be the last we saw her this issue, but there was still a third of the comic left!

Verity can't die. She needs to react to Minimus Ambus first! Also she's too much of a favorite of Roberts' and Roche's to be one of their shock deaths.

 

Repaint the cop car from Guardia.

 

If not you can do what I did and get a polar bear from the golden compass toyline. I got one when the movie came out cuz nothing beats battle armor polar bear....well except stakeout apparently

I think for height purposes a slight repaint of generations legends bumblebee could work.

Or if height isn't an issue he looks a bit like that chrome sparkplug from armada

So Here is a little theory abd assumption i happen to make related to Hubcap.
A day ago i was browsing across Tfwiki.net looking at mini-bot articles and i came across Hubcap's Page.
His personality is like Bumblebee but he is also a con artist who knows everything about everyone and due to this people do not trust him.
Keeping the above in mind,Either Roche placed him in just as a obvious suspect to confuse fans more or He may be atleast an agent or workimg for whoever captured Prowl and I bet it is an autobot.

 

Rattrap took Prowl after his beatdown by Prime, how is everyone forgetting this?

 

Because he wasn't necessarily Rattrap's captive and this comic suggests largely that Prowl came back to Earth to possibly deal with Verity and was captured by someone else.

There is no proof that Prowl was on Earth and the way it was written made it sound like she was picking up Prowl's signal from Kupp when he was having one of his blackout spells. Plus the time frame on this is pretty tight as the series has to happen before Blackrock goes on the offensive and right after Combiner Wars, not during.

 

Not sure if already covered in this thread or not but anyone got any idea what those early panels showing what appeared to be Kup floating through space damaged was all about? Could they be flash-forwards or flashbacks? Wonder how relevant the words are to there greater significance if there is any.

Also was hubcap the transformer who appeared in the sunstorm arc of dreamwave who they subtly suggested could be a traitor?

 

No, the way it was written made it sound like she was picking up Prowl's signal in Alaska--because that's exactly what happened, and we even saw what looked like him driving in Alaska at the start. Also, given that Roche has said this entire mini is pretty much set in Alaska, I'm feeling pretty safe in assuming that Prowl's on Earth right now.

 

That was Bumper, he was killed off in Megatron Origins in IDW.

 

Arcee did accuse Verity in Prowl's disappearance. It is pretty obvious Verity does not have means to do it by herself
